Even Dean - the one here is a little different, but he's still Sam's brother. [and everything she said she'd do extends to him, whether or not Dean decides to try and kill her. That's just how she is]

Though, I wouldn't be surprised if he'd try to stab me in a back. [a shrug, like it isn't a big deal]

[namisan]

The way I hear it, Dean's got a right to be mad at you. But I guess he hasn't attempted murder yet. Maybe you're in luck.

[She told Sam she'd back Dean, to be honest, but let's not go that far into the details she knows. Meg doesn't exactly strike her as evil incarnate-- or well, maybe she is, but saying he's still Sam's brother tells her Sam made the right call.

So.]

Sam and I are friends. We have been for a while now-- we keep turning up in places like this together, I guess.

[angelherding]

As if either of them need a real excuse. [there's at least some humor in her drawl] But I know he does. Sam made sure to tell me. And he hasn't tried yet, but he will. He's still Dean, and he's still an idiot.

[if Nami doesn't think she's evil incarnate, Meg's definitely lost her touch. She isn't sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but if it means that people aren't trying to kill her left and right - she's willing to suffer a little]

Oh, so you've done the kidnapping thing before?

[namisan]

[To be fair, Nami's version of 'evil incarnate' tends to sit on the genocide level. Or the 'you picked on my friend' level, which should count, but it's hard when the friend in question is also vouching for you. Go figure.]

Too many times. But in the whole "mysterious overlords of a new world" kind of way? Yeah. It gets old real fast.

[angelherding]

[Meg picks on Sam because she likes him, too. And that's more genuine like than "hey I'm a demon and I like watching you squirm". Even there's still a little bit in that in there, too. She and Sam even had a moment, it was great, she felt like puking]

I can't say I've had the pleasure before. Sam too, hm? If he mentioned that, it might've gotten passed over by all the other crap he was telling me.

[namisan]

When it comes to Sam, he always has a whole lot of crap to tell you. [Dryly.] It's not important in the scheme of things, anyway. We both went home after that. Kind of like a whole reunion happening here, I guess.

[She. Probably shouldn't be small-talking with Meg. Probably. Oh well.]

[angelherding]

[no she should absolutely be small-talking with Meg. Meg loves small-talk!]

Well, happy reunion to your both, very belatedly. [she shifts, sitting up a bit more properly and crossing her legs] I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised - they're both magnets for this kind of thing. If it's not one thing, it's another, and so on and so forth.

[namisan]

[She raises an eyebrow.] How long have you known them for?

[And how much of that time was spent trying to kill them :| but she may as well find out what she can. It's a productive use of her time. Plus she's nosy af.]

[angelherding]

[she takes a moment to think back, and while her sense of time is still a bit messed up between dying and being held hostage, she finally tilts her head with a considering noise, giving the ballpark she came up with]

Seven or eight years, around there. Back when they were both still baby-faced and charming.

[namisan]

And gullible? [Arched eyebrows. She wonders.] Or did you guys try and kill each other at first meeting?

[angelherding]

Incredibly gullible. [she tilts her head a bit] Not at first meeting, no. The first few times, I was pretending to be my host.

[namisan]

Your host...?

[She. Isn't sure how demons work, but from the narrowing of her gaze Nami is probably 90% of the way to knowing what Meg is talking about. Sam talked about possession, after all. She just assumed demons had bodies of their own. Um.]

That's not your body.
