[While the doctor might find Meston not to his liking, Ignis is enjoying it. While it might be a bit stuffy, it's orderly and calm. The shopping is excellent, the people are pleasant and, well, he can relax in this environment.

He's been up since early morning, walking and lost in thought as he casually takes in the sights. It's only because he hears the other man speaking that he avoids running into him. He looks vaguely familiar, as most of the people of his new home do, but he's definitely not someone that Ignis has interacted with personally.]

Forgive me, but is there something the matter?

[It's a good thing that Ignis hears him and avoids, because McCoy isn't paying enough attention to the things around him either. He would have run into Ignis; as it is, he stumbles a bit as the man shows up suddenly in his periphery.]

Nothing that a night back on the Caprine won't fix. [He hopes. He chucks a thumb back in the direction he came from.] Just came from the jail. They have some pretty strict laws here. Watch your step.

[Well, Ignis is lithe and athletic. He prides himself in being graceful, both in his everyday life and in battle. Besides, if he walks into people because he's not paying attention, it would make him a bit of a hypocrite, considering his irritation at having it done to him the day before.

He isn't blind yet. And he doesn't care for hypocrisy.]

I will keep that in mind. I have no desire to spend a night enjoying their hospitality. [His voice is so dry. So dry.] However, you said that you're from the Caprine? I've yet to meet anyone from that ship as of yet. I'm a crew member of the First Breath.

[McCoy huffs something of a chuckle. Yeah, no, he hadn't want to spend a night enjoying that hospitality either. It hadn't been so bad, really. The cell was clean and well-kept and he had everything he needed.

Gilded cage blah blah blah.]

Doctor Leonard McCoy. I'm captain of the Caprine. I don't think I've run into many from your ship, but I don't always keep the best track of who's on which ship.

[Even a gilded cage is a cage. He knows that and he understands how confining it can be for those in its grip.]

I've yet to meet more than a few of my crew mates. They don't appear to be the most social of groups.

[Not that Ignis is a great person to judge another about that. His social circle revolves around his king and the rest of his retainers. He dabbles in talking to those that can benefit Noctis and his cause, but having friends outside of that isn't something he's ever experienced.]

I fear that I don't know many of the others outside of them and my friends from home either.

[Leonard himself isn't the most social, but he's made himself available often enough to at least have a good idea of who's attached to the fleet on sight, though he might not be able to pull names out of a hat.]

I spend a lot of time on the Iskaulit, so I imagine I've probably seen, even met, a good many of us. We're a diverse group, though. Hard to keep tabs on sometimes.

I should perhaps spend more time on the Iskaulit. I've heard there is also a library, as well as many other establishments. As I'm new, I'm still trying to find my way around all that the Atroma have allowed us, such as it is.
