[Cory had arrived not long before the Shuffle, and so it's all just clicking in for him as he's beamed onto the Huntress. He thinks he has it figured out.

And so, one might pick up on a family resemblance as he shouts.]

SHAAAWWWWWN!!

Where are ya, buddy? Come one out. You finally did it. Prank of the century. I really thought I was in outer space for a minute. But I got you now!

[He lingers for a moment, looking out one of the windows into space.]

Whatever you did? It's really convincing. I'm impressed! I hope you didn't spend too much money on this...

[ Elize will show up to greet Cory some time later after the initial welcoming music. She can be shy and his yelling might have made her hesitant to greet him upon arrival, so she had delayed meeting him personally. ]

Um... hello. Are you okay?

[boymeetsfatherhood]

[He's calmed down and started to get used to things the time by the time the girl pops in. He leans over a little to be closer to her eye level and greats her with a smile.]

Don't worry about me. I'll be just fine! [Actually he's a father who's now worried sick but he'll power through it.] My name's Cory Matthews by the way. You live here too?

[Another kid stuck in space... It's horrible.]

I'm glad you're feeling better. My name is Elize Lutus.

[ If he's worried sick, she doesn't seem to notice. She has a father figure on the ship who similarly hides his weakness and she falls for it just as well. ]

And yes. I've been with the fleet for about... two months, I think.

Two months? [It's really sad to hear...] You've got to be one of the bravest space-girls I've met! [He holds out a hand to shake.]

I'm Cory Matthews. It's nice to meet you, Eliza.

Um... thank you?

[ Her response sounds uncertain. She never knew about the concept of space until Atroma brought her in. Handshakes are a formality she isn't accustomed to, but she gives his hand a light shake. ]
