He makes his way over to the bridge, grinning, ready to greet whoever's new here.]
Hey, welcome ab-- [He blinks when he sees what their new crewmate looks like. Like there hadn't been enough tall red men in his life yet?] You're uh, you're looking a little red around the edges there, pal. That normal?

Thank you. Yes, this is my natural skin color; I am called the Vision and it is a pleasure to meet you.

An AI named Ultron wanted to create a humanlike body for himself. He co-opted the most advanced medical technology known to the world, obtained a very rare material called vibranium, and with the help of a brainwashed research scientist began to grow the body combined with the vibranium. It bonded to the cells, and along with the stone he placed on my forehead it gave me several unique abilities. He attempted to download his consciousness, but it was only partially successful. A rival group attempted to download a different program. When I awoke, I was as neither intended me to be. I was myself.

Doesn't everyone want to know the answer to that about themselves? But I have found that I am on the side of Life. I will preserve it and defend it whenever necessary.
no subject
Serve and protect, huh? That's a pretty good thing to be.
no subject
We shall have to see if I am able to meet that goal in this place, but I hope I will do well.
no subject
Well, you ever get stuck, come find me, buddy.
no subject
I will. Thank you.
