It... It probably just sounds really weird. Maybe you should tell me about your world instead!

[ A different one she can't put into words, well, that's familiar. It sounds like an underground place, but she hasn't volunteered anything else, so Bucky switches tracks with her. ]

First time I'm seein' something like these ships outside a'TV too. What d'you want to know about mine?

Awesome! Does that mean your world already knows about a lot of things like that? Is it really advanced? Just... [A laugh.] Not as advanced as this?

Do you have a lot of stories like that? I don't... really know how advanced worlds are supposed to be like, I guess.

Yeah, I'll tell them all about it. If they'll believe me! [She laughs again, not really dwelling on it. She won't know till she tries, after all.

A smile at the question.] I thiiiink it's been... Almost three months? Not very long, anyway.

What about you? Has it been a long time?

[ That's a worrisome time, wherever she's from he hopes people are looking. ]

Not me, I just got here last week. What about these Atroma? Have you seen or met them?

[She huffs out a laugh. Last week, huh? That's not so bad. She's pretty sure she spent her entire first week just being excited.]

Nooot yet. But nobody's really told me that much about them either, you know? I don't... [She crosses her arms, frowning.] I get the feeling it's hard to find out anything about them.

That's all right. I expect I'll be nosy like most other new folk. They gave me an engineering augment and I'm not exactly equipped to be — [ he gestures, abortively, meaning repair of any kind to the ship. ]

It's weird, huh? I thought they were supposed to give us things we could do here, but... [She waves a hand.] A lot of it doesn't make any sense, you know?

[ About as much sense as everything back home, and that alone took some getting used to. Bucky gives her a bright smile, however. ]

[She laughs. Well, she probably should have expected that question.] I was... a Hunter.

But. [She waves a hand.] It's totally not as impressive as it sounds! Sometimes we had to fight, but sometimes it was just a lot of odd jobs, you know? Delivery jobs and fixing stuff...

I-I don't know if they have Hunters where you're from, too?

They don't, or at least, if they have 'em, we don't call 'em that.

What do you have to fight? Or fix? If you don't mind my askin'.

Um. Different things! And people. Sometimes it's monsters. Or criminals... or terrorists. And if someone asks us to fix something and we can do it, anything, like a machine or something...
