I guess that's probably important too right now. Probably.

But that's right! I'm Leanne. [In an undertone,] Tactical Support.

It's really great to meet you, Vima! [Vima Sunrider... Wow, what a pretty name!]

You too! [Leanne is obviously older than her, but Vima likes her already. Maybe she's found a friend? But what Leanne gives as her job title is kind of worrisome.] When you say tactical support... does that mean we're going to be getting into battles?

[With... the other ships? But everyone Vima talked to on her first broadcast seemed too friendly, unless they're just war games.]

Um... [She huffs out a breath. Ohhh boy. How is she supposed to explain this?] I don't really know.

Someone told me that... before I got here, all the ships got attacked, but... [Another laugh, probably not very convincing.]

I still haven't seen anything like that happen here. Nothing bad's happened!

[Not convincing or reassuring much at all, sorry Leanne. Vima crosses her arms and leans against the bulkhead.]

Not yet. If it's happened before, I bet it's going to happen again. [She supposes getting attacked by an outside force would be better than having to fight some of the people she talked to, like Dr. Crusher and that kid Aang.] Did they mention what kind of attack?

[A shake of her head. Oh, she could just kick herself for that. She should have asked more about it when she first found out.]

No. Sorry. The person who told me just said it was another group of people who attacked the ships, you know? She didn't say anything else about how it happened.

[A groan.] I hope it doesn't happen again...

Great. Something to look forward to. [She tilts her head back and sighs. She doesn't want to see people hurt or killed--nor does she want to see what war might turn them into.] How long have you been here?

[If Leanne's been here for a while without anything bad happening, Vima can hope that kind of thing isn't too frequent.]

[She frowns, silent for a moment. Okay, maybe that didn't go so well. But she can be more reassuring now, right?

She totally can.]

Um... Almost three months now! I guess it's not that much longer than you...

It probably won't feel that way if I stick around for three months, but it sounds like a while when you've barely been here a week. A three-month trouble buffer is doable, I guess.

[She sounds more chipper saying it, even while considering that it might mean they're due for trouble in the next couple of days.]

What kind of interesting-but-not-bad stuff have you seen since then?

[She brightens, standing up a little straighter.

OH BOY, that question she can definitely answer!]

The first place we landed on after I got here... It was amazing! It was so big and there were shops everywhere and places to see and eat and a... um, a casino? I'd never seen anything like it!

[Or she's just from somewhere full of a bunch of stiffs, either/or.]

[Vima grins, relieved at Leanne's answer. That does actually sound like fun. Vima hasn't had much opportunity to hang out on normal planets doing frivolous fun stuff either.]

That sounds great! I've never been in a casino before--not that I want to gamble, but I bet they had a lot of other interesting stuff too. [Gambling is probably Not Okay when you're a Jedi.] If we get to go somewhere like that again, we should hang out together!

[She claps her hands together once, grinning brightly.] That'd be so awesome!

[A laugh.] I bet you'd love it, there were so many other things and even just watching other people play was fun, you know?

I've never had a chance to go to a resort world, or even a resort city. I don't see how it could be boring! [Vima likes to be active and useful, but she still likes the idea of regular fun things.] And since it's a completely different galaxy, there's sure to be all kinds of things we've never seen before.

Yeah, me neither. At least not before that... [She huffs out a laugh.]

But that's true! It's... It's just sooo exciting to go to different galaxies and planets at all!

So you haven't been to space before either? [Vima leans against the bulkhead.] I wonder if Atroma makes a point of grabbing anyone it can from places without and just enough people from spacefaring cultures that things aren't a complete mess.

[A shake of her head.] I didn't even know we could go into space.

That... probably makes sense though, doesn't it? [She leans back, bouncing slightly on the balls of her feet.] It's supposed to be a TV show, right? So they probably wanted something like this for it?

[tobeajedi]

Nothing's more fun to watch than angry, confused people? [Vima shrugs; it's speculation on her part. She really has not had a lot to do with even Star Warsy entertainment, much less reality television.] I think that makes us even--you don't know space, and I don't know television.

[She grimaces.] Probably for the people watching this show, anyway.

Buuut... [And now she grins again, switching tracks.] That just means I can tell you about TV!

Oh yeah? [That gets Vima's grin back, too; she's quite interested in finding out about other people's homeworlds.] So you know all about this, huh? Definitely, tell me about it!

--Although, uh.] I-I don't really know a lot about this kind of TV show. We didn't have reality TV or anything back home, but the rest is probably the same! Just things you watch to have fun.
