[ ok so the beginning of (actually, the entirety of) the feed is probably going to be the most confusing thing ever: all it consists of is the device being repeatedly flipped over in any and every possible direction. while its focus continues to be butchered, you could probably see flashes of brown and red before it finally settles on the image of a wide-eyed teenager with spiky hair.
never mind that the image is upside down. ]
Huh. It looks kinda like those computers the Desians had. How'd they make it so small?
[ he continues to fiddle with it, trying to figure out how it works - he even cuts the feed off and on at some point - before his excitement and childlike wonder dies down and he gives up on it, opting to look out the window of the Marsiva. the only issue with that is he forgot to turn off the feed, and he opted to stay quiet for a bit. ]
I never thought I'd be back up here like this. It doesn't feel like it did back on Welgaia, either-- seeing all the stars this close is actually pretty awesome now! [ yeah that childlike wonder just came back. he pauses for a bit before letting out a sigh. ]
Man, if only the others could see this... I wonder if--

...How do I turn this thing off?
[ yep. he sure did ask that. ]

But as far as I know, you can't order food off this one. [Which is terrible, he thinks] It's just a list of things the communicator can do.

Why can't they just call it a "list"?

I don't know. It's never made much sense to me either. But that's computers for you.

or that he usually left this stuff to Raine. ]
So which one of these is the off button?

[And he raises his eyebrow a little, because uh, he thought that'd be obvious by the word choice]
Ah- it's the one that says 'Shut Down'?

[Excuse him while he goes make a cup of tea while Lloyd fails a lot over there. He's in the middle of that when Lloyd switches the feed back on]
Ha- Welcome back. I was worried you wouldn't find the "On" button.

Honestly, I'm kinda surprised I found it. It was like I somehow knew where the button was and what it was for.
[ which is weird because he's never seen this sort of device before. ]

That's probably your augment kicking in. Everyone who arrives here gets implanted with a device attached to their nervous system. It gives us information we wouldn't have otherwise.

[ and there's a pause as more info is downloaded into his brain. in all honesty, it'd be cool if the info didn't sound like Angelic to him. ]
...I'm still confused.

[Just cause he was a med student didn't mean he was an expert on brains man]
You'll just have to take my word for it. Or er, your mind's word for it.
