[When the video comes on, Clay's looking at it with a big, excited grin on his face that seems to only increase in wattage once he realizes it's on. He sits back on his heels then, arms wrapped around his knees, though they probably won't stay like that for long.]

I haven't been here very long, but I've still met so many people with such cool powers! [And, indeed, he begins to gesture and lean forward as he describes each power.] Super strength, fighting with magic cards, reality bending, and flight! I never even knew those kinds of things were possible outside of comic books and tv shows!

[He rocks back again, arms winding around his knees once more as he seems to calm just a bit.]

So tell me about your powers. What are they like? Is it natural to you, or do you... I don't know, have to call on something in order to make it happen? And for you people who don't have powers, like me, what kind do you wish you had? [And the thought of it just makes him move once more, arms out and gesturing.] If I could have powers, I'd have flight, the ability to breathe anywhere I wanted, and super durability. Or maybe - maybe adaptability? That way I could go into space any time I wanted without getting into a heavy suit!

[... Aaand calm again.] So, yeah. Powers? I really want to know. It's of astronomical importance.

[You know, Clay tends to forget about that one little fact way too often.]

So what was this battle like? [IT HAD TO COME UP SOONER OR LATER]

[Of course it would come up. The Vision smiles a little.]

Succinctly, a misguided robot wanted to destroy most of the life on Earth by lifting a city up to orbit and then dropping it. The effect would have been similar to the theorized meteor that wiped out the dinosaurs. My friends and I had to evacuate the city, destroy all the robot hosts, and find a way to bring the landmass down in relative safety.

[Gosh, it's like hearing about a movie ~~HEH~~. Clay wraps his arms around his legs and listens with awe, because this is really the first time he's heard about an actual battle happening.]

You guys had to do all that? [He has SO many questions - How do you lift up a city into orbit? How fast was the city rising, how much time did they have to do all of those things? Who are his friends, what are they like? How did they get the landmass down? Where does he even start?]

And - uh, I'm guessing you won? [He really hopes they won; a catastrophe like that sounds terrible.] I mean, I imagine you'd be a lot more sullen about it if you didn't, so...

It was something of a crisis situation. And yes, we were victorious - not without casualties, but they were minimized. [Greatly minimized, but not negated. As much as he values life, the Vision understands that sometimes it is unavoidable for life to be lost - or taken. So he grieves, but it does not stop him from acting.]

It was something of an isolated event, though. Since then we have had relative peace and quiet.

Mmm... [He sure wishes there weren't any casualties, and the slightly unhappy tone of voice there seems to convey that. That's a reality of almost any battle, right? But still... those lives held so much impact, even if they themselves didn't know it, and losing them like that is unfair. Rather than continue down that depressing thought, though...]

You'd think people would be all over that. It's not every day a city gets lifted up in the air and a whole huge catastrophe gets prevented!

[Oh, so does he. So does he. And even if the Vision himself might be the only one who mourned Ultron's loss, the others were more well-loved.]

It was very good for public relations, I admit. [Helped them sell the return of SHIELD, if nothing else.]

[Okay, that earns a little laugh out of him, because:] Of course it would! Nothing like a little bit of saving the world to help with that.
