[When the video comes on, Clay's looking at it with a big, excited grin on his face that seems to only increase in wattage once he realizes it's on. He sits back on his heels then, arms wrapped around his knees, though they probably won't stay like that for long.]

I haven't been here very long, but I've still met so many people with such cool powers! [And, indeed, he begins to gesture and lean forward as he describes each power.] Super strength, fighting with magic cards, reality bending, and flight! I never even knew those kinds of things were possible outside of comic books and tv shows!

[He rocks back again, arms winding around his knees once more as he seems to calm just a bit.]

So tell me about your powers. What are they like? Is it natural to you, or do you... I don't know, have to call on something in order to make it happen? And for you people who don't have powers, like me, what kind do you wish you had? [And the thought of it just makes him move once more, arms out and gesturing.] If I could have powers, I'd have flight, the ability to breathe anywhere I wanted, and super durability. Or maybe - maybe adaptability? That way I could go into space any time I wanted without getting into a heavy suit!

[... Aaand calm again.] So, yeah. Powers? I really want to know. It's of astronomical importance.

[Wanda knew that follow-up question was coming. It was rather mandated considering the ambiguity of her initial response. Yet, that still doesn't keep her from losing her smile, and looking more serious. She is not sad, nor angry. Just rather... grim.]

It is a long story. One that is not filled with very happy memories. Perhaps given was the wrong word, as I did ask. But... We- I had no idea. Could not fathom really what the results ended up being.

[And since she grows more solemn, Clay gets more serious. His own smile falls too, though he still pays close attention to what she's saying.]

What were those results? [And "we"? So someone else was with her? But she changed that for a reason, and he's already had her open up this much, so...]

The results?

[Wanda positions her communicator's screen better to catch the coming display. She extends her arm, as her hand begins to glow with faint crimson energy. Across the room, a cup levitates across the room, gliding smoothly through the air before coming to rest in her hand. Admittedly, this was starting to feel like she was performing some cheap magic trick for the amusement of others... but, well, Clay had asked. If she didn't think this would have happened, then she probably wouldn't have even responded to his post in the first place.]

Not the most impressive example, but there.

[Clay still looks very impressed, though, as his eyes go wide and his jaw drops slightly. Dude! All these people and their amazing powers!]

That's still way more than what other people can do! Is it - is it like telekinesis, or something else?

[Clays reaction actually causes Wanda to blush slightly. She had become somewhat used to other people seeing her powers and treating her as abnormal, freakish, something to be avoided. Yet, starting with the Avengers, she's realized that perhaps there are other people out there who are actually not alarmed by her abilities.]

To be honest, I do not fully understand how it works myself. But yes, telekinesis is one of the forms that my abilities take.

Only one of the forms? So you're capable of way more than that, wow... [He sets his cheek in his hand and just. Looks at the camera, just so awed.] I guess there's no way to fully understand it, huh? Did you only just get them recently, or?

[Wanda briefly wonders how much more she should divulge. She does not want to tell the full story behind her powers, but she decides that there is little harm in answering his question.]

It is a little hard to tell how long time has passed here, but... I believe it has been over a year since I've had them.

Considering how new it is having powers like that, that's still not a lot of time to figure out what they are. Kind of like growing a new limb - it takes some time to get used to, and even after you do, you still discover new things you can do with it.

[There's a small pause, before:]

Did you not expect to get those powers? You said you couldn't fathom what the results were... [It's tentatively worded, as if to give Wanda an out here; she doesn't have to answer if she doesn't want to.]

["Growing a new limb" that was certainly an odd way to put it. Wanda can't help but cock a bit of a confused eyebrow at that. Still, she could see how the metaphor made sense.]

Did I expect them...

[She repeats the question, thinking of her response.]

I did not know what to expect exactly, but in a way... yes, I knew what could have happened.

[She knows her answer is cryptic, and likely not at all what Clay was looking for. It is still hard for her to explain her past. There wasn't much to it, but pain and regret.]

Ahh... [Yeah, it is cryptic and doesn't really answer his question. But that's all right, and Clay soon brings up a smile again.]


Well, I still think they're really cool! I mean, I can't do anything. On my end, powers like that look amazing!

[Wanda blushes slightly, a small smile appears on her face briefly. However, it fades slightly as her response carries a more somber sounding tone.]

If only more people back home shared your same enthusiasm.
