[This is the voice of a worried man that's trying to not sound as worried as he feels. The crease in his brow is almost audible.]

I understand that sometimes people fall into deep sleep here for no reason known to us. [Maker, he's praying that it's like what happened to Varric and not something to do with their new fleet addition.]

It seems to have happened to Elize. She's in good hands, but... I felt I should let people know, in case this isn't just happening to her alone.

It's not an illness. It happens to people, sometimes, here. It's more like a deep sleep than anything else. Nothing will wake her but time.

[He's furious. How could Atroma do such a thing? He's never heard of this happening before but he can't say he's surprised; the man obviously knows what he's talking about. So he balls his fists, and he looks down for a moment.]

[ Well, falling asleep wasn't uncommon in any random place she gets kidnapped. But falling asleep wasn't temporary in Kyriakos. Usually. ]

[Shirley lets Cullen and Elize be for a little while after all the initial shock is over, but after enough time passes without a sign of either she goes to investigate. The bunk rooms are a little cramped for one person, let alone two people and a sleeping child, so Shirley just kind of climbs halfway down the ladder to Elize's bunk and calls down from there.]

Cullen? When was the last time you ate?

[Or rested for that matter, but one step at a time here.]

[He looks up, a little startled. How long has he been here?]

I'm... not exactly sure. But I'm fine, Shirley. Don't worry.

[Shirley's quiet for a moment, and then she gives a resigned sigh.]

I'll go fetch you something to eat, but you have to rest sometime. I'll make sure you do, if I have to.

[Because if Cullen doesn't remember the last time he ate, then he almost certainly doesn't remember the last time he slept.]
