Meanwhile on the less violent fish ship....

Who: The Blue Fish Crew & Any Visitors
Broadcast: MAYBE
Action: SS Blue Fish
When: Beginning of July

[So in the past month, Aang & Katara may or may not have become an item, Sokka finished off all of puberty in under a week, Allen remained stuck in the puberty still, Toph won strangest pilot award briefly before she had to give it up to a pony, Hawke sassed everything and finally itemized with Anders, Beverly acquired a Starfleet issued puppy, and it turned out the cook is a flipping disney princess. Quite a time for the Blue Fish crew!]

[Well, it's time to check in with them again: AKA IT'S A MINGLE EVERYONE]

I think so. I mean, they let me in and everything. [She looks at Dr. Crusher curiously.] Have you been doing a lot of work on the alien ship?

Oh, well, people in this crew tend to be very welcoming. Either way, it's nice to see you off of the Marsiva.

[She nods in response to Vima's question.

You're actually lucky you caught me not in the lab or on the Iskaulit.

So I've found. [It is pretty nice to meet some people in person, for a change. Aang, for instance, and Crusher herself.]

That makes sense, with you being a doctor... [...] How have you been doing, with figuring it out?

[Vima's only been exposed to the edges of that mess, but she felt all the death and agony on that ship and did not want to go in. Talk about a disturbance in the Force.]

[She answers with a very heavy heart, if Vima can pick up on that.]

We found a cure, just not in time to save the people on board.

[She does, yes, and wonders what she should say about it. It's not Dr. Crusher's fault they didn't have time.]

It's Atroma that controls our pace. It's not your fault you weren't given the time. [How helpful that will be, Vima's not sure. Maybe not much who takes medicine so seriously.] If it sends us to more ships like that, your work may do a lot of good.

[She offers Vima a small, yet grateful smile. It is true the words themselves are not much help - especially given the suspicions she has regarding Atroma's involvement - but the sentiment behind them is.]

Thank you. I certainly hope so. If nothing else well... At least they were given a respectful burial.

[If Vima has formed one impression over the past few weeks, it's of their having to support each other in the nonsense and trauma that they're put through for the sake of ratings. She's glad to see the smile, small as it is.]

That is something. It would help their loved ones if they ever learn about it.

[How much contact they have with outside governments and the like, Vima isn't too sure. (It's a little discouraging to think the fleet might be legally sanctioned and accepted.) But knowing the Iskaulit was treated with respect would certainly make Vima feel better if she was one of them.]

I have a feeling we'll run into them, sooner rather than later. The Marsiva has us following the same trajectory as the expelled pods from the Iskaulit.
tobeajedi: SHE LOOKS SERIOUS. (This is my srs face)

[Vima frowns.] Hm... let's hope we were the outer edge of this disease, then. [...] And that they don't think we had anything to do with it.

[But if they say they have the cure, that would help their case, surely.]

As long as we get a chance to speak with them, to explain, I am sure it will be fine.

[Provided no one in the fleet does anything stupid that is... Like insist on keeping the ship.]
