Has anybody else gotten some personalized cola bottles from the sponsors? I mean, they are clearly meant for me, but my name is misspelled on a few of them, and then... there's this one.

[Simon turns it toward the camera: it has the infamous "you tried" star... with Simon's face on it.]

I got a gold star for... what? Dissecting sentient creatures? Playing my part like a good television star? Being myself? Did I fail at whatever I tried to do?

[[OOC NOTE: This was just a fun idea I had- in the vein of Share A Coke bottles, the sponsors have decided to gift Fleet members with their own personalized bottles of soda. Except their names won't necessarily be spelled correctly, or the soda will have weird flavors, or be loaded with caffiene- be creative!]]

Not dangerous, but it may taste strange. I took a drink of one and it tasted like... cucumbers.

[Bran takes a considering sip, slow and cautious, and then wrinkles his nose in thought.]

Mine doesn't taste like cucumbers. It's more like... lemon cake!

Well, that sounds very nice, actually- though the carbonation- the bubbles- may feel strange paired with that taste.

Why do they taste different?

I am not sure- I guess they wanted to give us a variety. As a reward for our recent stay on the bugs' ship, no doubt.

I couldn't go onto the ship. What was it like?

It was awful... bugs everywhere, moving like mindless drones, going about their tasks as though that was their only purpose in life. Plus the gore from the ones that had been attacking us. It was even worse when we found out about the disease.

Wow... I wish that I could have seen them. Yuya showed them to me with a video. [He thinks that's how to refer to it?]

A video was the safest way to view them, honestly. Most of them were not hostile, but it was still dangerous if you did get in their way. We're just lucky they couldn't pass the disease on to us.
