[he doesn't have a room of his own, which is very awkward. he doesn't even have the lab to himself, which makes this ship inferior to his first in some ways.

he puts it off for as long as he can... but sooner or later, he's got no other choice. especially with how sick he's beginning to feel, he needs to reconnect with something very important.

he either loses some of his ability, or he carries out an unholy little ritual in the quietest corner of the ship that he can find.

so, trying to pick a time when he guesses that everyone will either be in the bunk, makeshift gym, or kitchen, he sneaks onto the bridge, and finds a place as far from the door as he can. up against the wall near the helm, under the watch of the stars beyond the windows, he sets up the best meditation spot he can manage.

without candles or any other objects of power, he's had to cannibalize pieces of paper from around the ship. lab notes, paper towels, paper wrappers... whatever he can find to draw sigils on, all placed carefully on the floor around where he sits.

he doesn't seem to be doing much, aside from staring up out into the infinite black with an unfocused eye. he also doesn't seem to be very aware of his surroundings... but, surprise! the tiniest sound will disturb him.]

though Zhas gives Coil's crazy necromancy about two seconds of thought before he turns around and walks right back out again.]
