[Dorian's got on swim trunks and a loose robe over that and is holed up in his bunk with a pile of books next to him.]

You know, I certainly didn't sit down one day and say to myself- "you know what would be lovely? Something that would truly make me wish I was trapped in a small metal can all day, shooting through the air and feeling sick"- but here we are. Ah, yes, what could be better than a little beach vacation? Why not something entirely too hot with giant bugs and sand that gets fucking everywhere. Oh, and to top it all off? Rain! And storms! At entirely inopportune moments!

Lovely.

[UGH.]

Vinhedis. Let me know when we're planning on leaving.

That's a shame. It's really pretty out there.

There's far too much rain and sea for my tastes, but I will not begrudge someone a bit of fun. I hear there are quite attractive people there, whichever type you prefer.

[And then he looks back at his book, opening it and peeking over the pages, raising an eyebrow playfully.]

It is nice to meet me. The only great pleasure in life I will never experience.

[His statements earn a snort of genuine amusement. She just hangs out at the open hatch, peering down into the bunk.]

Pleasure's a bit of an exaggeration right now, seeing as we've barely spoken. It's entertaining for now at least.
