Who: Yamanaka Ino
Broadcast: Open
Action: Only the Three Twins
When: Now!

[ no video here, just audio. because she looks terrible. she sounds terrible too, but hey, at least you don't have to look at her, just listen to her sniffles. run away, three twins crew. ]

Yeah, hi, whoever's running this stupid game?

When the HELL are we gonna stop on a planet that has some sort of plant life I can use to make medicine? Or, even better, how about one that's actually advanced enough to have the pre-made medicine to kill whatever this dumb alien bug is?

Don't piss me off. I will find a way to make you regret it.

Sincerely,
Ino ♥

You're not dealing with the last one right now. They're irrelevant in this situation. More powerful or less they're powerful enough to bring you here.

We don't need optimism, we need realism. Haughty boasting or incurring the wrath of the thing or things that brought all of us here is reckless.

I'M SORRY SHE'S SO SERIOUS, LET'S CALL IT EVEN.

That situation sounds completely different from this one, so I'm not even sure what point you're trying to make. You're jumping to an awful lot of conclusions about me and this place, which is more than a little reckless.

The effect doesn't mean the cause is the same. Just because something is similar doesn't make it the same.

Were my Captain to be screeching over the airwaves, I think I would start a mutiny. As someone that supposedly knows what they're talking about, you're supposed to be exemplary. When a Captain acts panicked or irrationally, their crew follows suit. Your job isn't just a figurehead. If there isn't enough medicine or any, you reassure people that it will be alright. You don't start unnecessary battles for their sake. You pick and choose the ones you can win after you've adequate information.

[ She sounds bored, if not tired. Bordering neutral, bordering too serious; the kind of cold that hisses to the touch and leaves a burn long after the memory of it is gone. There is an audible sigh, clipped into something that might even be a laugh. ]

But you know what you're talking about.

Again, you're jumping to conclusions. Instead of hearing criticism you hear an attack. That's the sort of thing that will end in casualties, were this to be a war. I didn't once say that you're stupid -- ignorant, maybe, but ignorance isn't stupidity.

[ She's pretty done with this whole conversation, since she says one thing and this kid hears another. In the end, she honestly doesn't give much of a shit about any of this beyond the fact that Chris is stuck on a ship with this incompetent woman. All she can do is hope that he gets that transfer of his approved lickety-split.

You can hear the roll of her eyes from her words, the sound of soft material shifting beneath her legs.
]

I'm done here, kid.
