When the HELL are we gonna stop on a planet that has some sort of plant life I can use to make medicine? Or, even better, how about one that's actually advanced enough to have the pre-made medicine to kill whatever this dumb alien bug is?

I'd believe it. Based on my limited and biased knowledge of reality TV, low-budget is the name of the game.

I mean, otherwise they'd have to genuinely enjoy a bunch of people laying around and complaining about how sick they feel. And that's just... ridiculous.

Well, there's no way this type of technology is around where I'm from either, so saying the "future" seems like a safe bet.

They're gonna be losing way more money when people get tired of seeing people up all night coughing.
