When the HELL are we gonna stop on a planet that has some sort of plant life I can use to make medicine? Or, even better, how about one that's actually advanced enough to have the pre-made medicine to kill whatever this dumb alien bug is?

I find it really hard to believe they can figure out how to bring us onto these spaceships and alter our memories and not know how to cure a cold.
