Who: Uzuki Shimamura
Broadcast: Fleetwide voice
Action: Inside the Golden.
When: July 23rd
Okay everyone... I have a question for you. I'm sure some people have had the personal augment upgrades, right? What has your experience with them been? Like... how do they feel Do you think they were worth the price? Have you had any problems with them, or anything? Do you keep them a secret from your crewmates? That kind of thing. I'd like to know as much as I can about that kind of thing, if possible. As things are, I don't really feel too confident in how they work, so I thouhgt I should ask around, first.
If you want it to keep a secret, I can do what I can to keep the messages private. I am a communications officer after all.
[And right before she ends the broadcast, she suddenly has an afterthought.]
Ahh... communications officers? It would be appreciated if you respected everyone's privacy and try not to decrypt anything in response here. This is kind of a personal thing, after all.

That'd be pretty neat! I don't see why anypony would have to keep them a secret, though.
Re: Video
Still, there are a lot of interesting options in the personal augment upgrades. Since there hasn't really been any chance for me to spend credits I keep getting, I was thinking of trying one since they're pretty cheap compared to the ship upgrades. A few of them seem like they would help a person do better at their jobs here, too, so if I get the right one, it might be a big help to everyone on the Golden.

That's a really nifty way of looking at it. I think I'll have a look at these upgrades myself. Maybe I can find something that can help the Bishop out a little.
[They kinda need all the help they can get. ]
Re: Video
Still, it's kind of something to be worried about, right? I mean, we already have the augments inside of us, but... They're going to be messing with something in our heads, after all. I thought I might be able to talk to people who've had experiences with it to find out what it's like first.

Trust me, I've had my fair share of weird otherworldly powers being able to mess with our heads. Compared to Paradisa, Atroma are like big, space-y kittens.
no subject
What's Paradisa, then?
no subject
It was a giant magical castle that sucked on the residents' souls and did crazy stuff once a month.
no subject
Eh? Something like that exists? Eh? Ehh?!
no subject
Such a hoot. [Such sarcasm. ]
no subject
Eh? That kind of thing... And there's nothing anyone could do about it?
no subject
Nope, the castle held every single card and we just kind of...rode it's whims. Someponies tried to leave, but they always ended up being dragged back by some magical force. Mentally. I mean.
That's what they said, anyway. I never got to travel myself. [So bitter about that, forever bitter about that. ]

[It's probably too much to hope that we'll stumble across something that lets us do something about that...]
