out of one prison & into another
Who: Bucky & You
Broadcast: ?????
Action: From the Marsiva
When: 7/28
[Consciousness came slowly, like climbing out of a fog. Before he opened his eyes, he knew something was amiss; the familiar noises that accompanied him waking up were absent. There should be some sort of noise, be it the hiss of the cryostasis chamber, or the bumbling gait of the scientists that aided in mission preparations.
Nothing.
Blearily opening his eyes, he was startled if not perplexed. This wasn't right. His mission, he--
Head whipping around, his vision darted rapidly for the windows and all points of entry. No sign of anyone else around. Captain America- that had been his mission, but this was...impossible.
Getting off the cot, the joints of his bionic arm creaked as he pushed himself to stand. The large window caught his eye, the view of the stars impressive. They invoke some sort of feeling in him, though he's not sure exactly what.
The lack of any sort of life around is concerning, though not unwanted. Being alone is something of a treat, and the gentle hum of the station itself helped quell the noise in his brain for now. It also helps that he's got a basic comprehension of where he is, though it doesn't particularly calm him.
Despite the freedom to move about, he can't shake the feeling of being snared, like there is something he is missing just out of reach. While there is no one in the immediate area, they could be close, and he opens his mouth to speak.]
..Hello?
[The single word is slightly hoarse, scratching at his throat from disuse, but perhaps not unheard.]

..Hello?
[The single word is slightly hoarse, scratching at his throat from disuse, but perhaps not unheard.]

[Was that really a name? Perhaps a call sign-
And that's when Wanda puts it together. She knows from reading Sgt. Barne's mind back on the Nunilis ship... The Winter Solider. The name of a ghost. An assassin. This was dangerous, talking to this man. Her mind was riddled with too many questions, too much confusion.]
Winter... where are you from?
no subject
Moscow.
[Not inherently a lie. He was, at one point in time.]
no subject
[Though that much was obvious. Wanda knew that before she even asked the question, but perhaps she had been too optimistic as to how much "Winter" would tell her.]
This may sound like an odd question, but do you know the date?
no subject
..April? [April something, anyway..]
no subject
What about the year?
no subject
[He's still watching her with that calculating gaze, though for now, there's not a threat. Something about her sets off the instinct, however.]
no subject
Do you remember anything about where you were before you found yourself here?
no subject
She just happens to be on the tail-end of his tolerance.]
My mission was interrupted. Woke up here functioning at full capacity.

Can you tell me... does the name Ultron mean anything to you?
no subject
This woman was unfamiliar, as was this 'Ultron'. It wasn't anything he'd heard of before. If it were something going on, then he wasn't told of it, so it was not his business to mess about in.

[Wanda gives a half-smirk, a sign of relief perhaps? Still, while this Winter Soldier may not be from the same Earth or timeline or whatever as her, he could still be from the same one as the Agent Romanov here. In which case, would she be in danger?]
I am sorry for all the questions. I cannot imagine it is helping with your current confusion.

[She won't be the last, either. These all seem to be the type of people to make someone's business their own. It's still confusing.]
no subject
[Fair was fair, and Wanda didn't seem to be getting much out of him by being the one asking the questions.]
sorry this is so late, I am the worst
[ He may have had questions, but he could very well find them on his own when he was stationed. ]
It's no problem at all.
I see. Well Winter, I will be sure to keep an eye out for you.
[A brief pause to make sure the real intent of her message gets across before she continues with a small, cold smile.]
In case you should think of any questions.
video;
He narrows his eyes at her words and dips his head a fraction in acknowledgement. She would definitely be on his list for people to watch out for in the future.. ]
We will see.
