[ The video turns on, and she's got her chin in her palm. She blows a little at her bangs, making them fly up for a moment before she speaks ]

I've seriously been slacking lately ... so, anyone wanna spar? I know it's kinda late at night, but I could super use the practice.

Just watch, we're gonna hit a planet with a secret fight club-esque ring where you can strike it rich and a bunch of people who haven't been keeping up are gonna get immediately disqualified.

[ Misha, your imagination... ]

Any stipulations? Super powers? Magic? Just fists and feet?

[ino]

[ She laughs ]

Wouldn't that be something? I think there's quite a few people who'd absolutely love a place like that ...

Hmm, depends on what you can do, I guess.

voice;

It would definitely be for an interesting show. Maybe they'll take up the suggestion now that someone's mentioned it.

Well, super powers. Flight and phasing. What's your deal?

voice;

[ino]

I'm sure it's lurking somewhere in the future travel plans.

I'm actually mostly a medic, but I do know some hand-to-hand combat. That's really what's getting rusty.

voice;

[interspace]

Well, we'll be right there waiting for it.

So feet and fists it is. [ She gives a slight laugh. ] Which means you'll probably beat me, but that's what the practice is for.

voice;

[ino]

Hey, you never know! It's probably what I'm worst at, too.

Where's good for you?

Then maybe we can just help each other sharpen up for that tournament that's totally going to happen.

Anywhere is fine. I'm a pilot so theoretically I could bring my entire ship to you. But I won't! Still.

voice;

[ino]

If it does, I will know who to blame.

I'm a captain, so I guess I could do the same if I really wanted to drag my pilot out of bed. But I'm already on the planet, if that's easier.

voice;

[interspace]

Who, little ol' me?

Vastly easier. I'll meet you down there. Send me your coordinates?

voice;

[ino]

Naturally. No hard feelings.

Sounds good! I'm at [ insert coordinates here ... ].

voice;

[interspace]

None taken.

All right, I'll be right there!

action?!?!

[ino]

[ Well then. Ino will just be warming up with some stretches until Misha gets there. It's actually a little embarrassing how long it's been since she's properly fought -- hopefully she wouldn't make an idiot of herself ]

ACTION FOREVER!!

[interspace]

[ Misha doesn't have the chance to stretch herself, but she's down soon enough and landing nearby where there's a long enough stretch on the beach to touch down. She pops out moments later and waves as if the shuttle wouldn't have gotten Ino's attention. There's some scarring on her face, but she's been getting used to not having anything to cover it up. ]

[ino]

[ She lived with a dude who looked like he'd survived a freak woodchipper accident for a year or two, so she doesn't even give the scar much of a second glance. ]

Hey! You must be the girl from the network.

[ Realizes she forgot to get her name. Oops. ]

[interspace]

[ That gets a laugh. ]

Yeah, that's me. Misha. You are?

[ino]

Ino. [ She'll extend a hand for a handshake ] Nice to meet you.

[interspace]

Pleasure's all mine.

[ She shakes Ino's hand, then gestures out toward the beach. ]

Nice spot you found here.

[ino]

You think so? It's been pretty empty during the day, too, so I don't have anyone blocking my sun.

[ Of course, even though she's said that, she ... doesn't really look particularly tan, but ... she's trying, okay ... ]

[interspace]

Yeah. Plenty of beach but some of it's better than other places I've seen.

[ Guess who's been flying around in the nice, warm air over the nice ocean and checking out the sights from there? ]

When did you find it?

[ino]

A couple of days ago. I was just exploring a little bit and came across it ...

[ She points up and away from the part of the beach she's on, where it's clear the path to this section by land is obstructed by a decent amount of sharp or difficult to traverse rocks ]

It's kind of hard to get over here without a shuttle, so that's probably why it's so open.

[interspace]

Like some kind of secret cove. [ She grins at the idea. It's basically every little kid's fantasy to have such a cool spot to themselves, and she isn't afraid to admit to herself that it is pretty nice even if less glamorous than it would have been. ]

[ino]

Yeah, exactly like that!

[ And she pauses for a moment, like she's suddenly remembered something ]

Oh, hey. Misha. You're the Misha Clay was talking about, aren't you? You just turned twenty-three, right?

[interspace]

[ Huh? She halts momentarily before skipping a step to catch up and her brows furrow despite her looking amused. ]

You heard about me from Clay? I mean, yeah, sure. My birthday was a few weeks ago.

[ino]

Yeah, we were talking about how few of us there are around that age. He mentioned you were around the same age as us, too.

[ Never mind the fact that she doesn't look a day older than 16 ... ]

[interspace]

[ That age thing is really noticeable. Misha doesn't say it... quite... outright, though. ]

Really? Are you an elf or something?
