Well, this is.. horrible.
Who: SS Caprine & visitors
Broadcast: ???
Action: All aboard
When: 8/3
[Dread is probably not a good feeling to have in the face of actually having something resembling a 'team' now. Unfortunately, the way this place seems to love uprooting and depositing people out of nowhere into unfamiliar territory, and it sets him on edge.
His eyes narrow as he looks around yet another place he's unaccustomed, being bombarded by-- colorful shreds of paper and overly-cheerful music. And even more people. Once again, he longs for the familiar weight of a weapon in his hand, but this fleet just loves to suck the comfort out.
At least this is a more permanent residence? Time would tell on that one.]

['Yet' being the operative word, there. If her earlier motion was a shift, this one is a freezing.]
Yeah? Guess it's that time of week again. He have a name, your new crewmate?

[She rubs at her shoulder like she's remembering something...]
Winter, he said? He doesn't seem to like talking, so I didn't want to pry about much more.

Seems like an odd name for a person.

There's Nightingales in Earth history. Florence Nightingale established the field of modern nursing, took women's rights leaps and bounds in the right direction. It isn't that odd. But that's just my opinion.
I won't keep you, if you're busy dealing with new crew and guests.

It's fine. Are you hungry?

[Still were, in many parts of the world, and that's not even getting into the details, but that's a long and complicated story that doesn't entirely make any sort of logical sense to her, half the time, let alone someone from another world entirely.]
Guess that depends. Have you stumbled onto actual food, or still making do with what Atroma calls food?
no subject
We've got food, don't worry. As long as you like fish.
no subject
Guess I'm following you, then. We just have the basics, back on my ship.
no subject
We've got... Probably just the basics, too. At least, our kitchen is pretty much shit. I'm making due, anyway.
[And with that, she'll lead the way to the kitchen. \o\ Natasha can likely smell cooking fish as they get closer.]
no subject
She's content enough to follow Nightingale. Most of the ships have similar layouts, so it's not all that unfamiliar territory, plus she's been on this ship often enough to know her way around. Never stopped by the kitchen, though.]
We haven't done anything with ours. Just whatever the Windrose came with. Should really work on fixing that, eventually. Have you seen the set-up the Blue Fish has? Almost looks like a place actual meals come from.

[The Blue Fish kind of comes off as a big, happy space-family. She wasn't expecting anyone to have a problem with its crew.]
no subject
Um. Problem, not so much... More like, I think I pissed someone there off?

Crusher?? Really? You must have really pissed her off.
[Color Natasha surprised, really. She wouldn't think Beverly of all people would end up on anyone's wrong side. Or that anyone would end up on hers, let alone someone like Nightingale.]
