[Oh, well, of course everything's being broadcast! Where's the fun if it's not?

The first appearance of Kallen on intergalactic tv is her sitting up on one of the cots, running a hand through her hair in a half assed attempt to get rid of bed head. It only works so well. She sits there for a few moments, eyes narrowing as she tries to remember what happened.

Viewers can probably tell she doesn't have much success once she stands up and swears softly to herself. Glancing around, she begins to walk, making halfway around the deck before she snaps.]

What the hell is going on this time?!

[she's not sure why she was expecting Kallen to be mad. Or maybe cold, or at least distant. But she smiles weakly and nods. That response brings forth a rush of emotion. All her Ashford friends that she hasn't seen in so long, she misses them so much.]

M-Mm hm! I'm alright. Are you okay? You seem to be somewhere... different?

[ardor]

Different from what? [It's only a quick pause before she nods.] I'm fine, I think. For now. I just want to know where I am. [This time.]

From the ship that I'm on. [The background behind Kallen looks so sterile, so automated. But perhaps the difference isn't significant]

It's... ah, it's a very strange situation. We've been told that we are here for some sort of show, possibly. [the woman mentioned an audience, as if they were being watched by multiple people]

[ardor]

A show? [Someone help her...] You know, I'm surprised this stuff still catches me off guard. [That part was muttered, but not too quiet.]

How long have you been stuck here?

They said an audience was watching, but we don't know exactly what that means.

[... girl you can't mutter when talking to a girl who relied on hearing only for years, she heard that] Only a few days. Everyone here woke up at the same time, but we were already aboard these smaller ships.
