[ Nova looks... tired, especially if you saw her on her first day. She's sitting up on her bed and her space looks pretty immaculate and not at all lived-in. She looks a little anxious, and rebraids the bottom of her hair before speaking, visibly uncomfortable with the camera. ]

Uh. Hey. I guess. I hope I'm not waking anyone up. I'm new so... I don't know. I can't sleep. Does anyone have any tips? Or something? It's... well, it's not exactly quiet, because things make noise. But it's... sterile? It doesn't sound right, or smell right.

I don't really want to think about it too hard. Anyway. If you could tell me what you did when you were new...

[ She trails off, awkward and tired and lets the silence go on a little long ]

It's probably just a personal problem.

The Olympics are where people from all over the world do things like 'skate prettily on ice' and 'run really fast' to see who's the best so they get awards on TV.

[ his arms tighten a little around her. he's trying to be subtle, but he kind of sucks at that. ]

Nah. Not unless there's some like freak accident. It's a contest for fun.

[ takes a beat, it's kind of inevitable she'll start night blogging take a turn for the more serious ]

It's not just the environment. I mean, it's weird and... sterile. But I don't have a quest to help with the other stuff anymore.

[ brushes his hair away from his face, whether or not it's even long enough to be in the way ]

Whaddya mean? I'm totally awake. Fully, one-hundred percent. [ he just leans back enough so he can reach up to gently lift and drop her braid. ] See?
