It was almost too much to believe.

An unspoiled planet, clear blue skies, water as far as the eye could see. She pans the camera around to catch the expanse of beach with the ocean stretching out to the horizon, the sun glinting off the waves, a few puffy clouds wafting their way past.

"I will never tire of this."

She'll be on the beach, just walking along and taking it all in. Trudging through sand is not unfamiliar with her, but the sound of the waves is intoxicating and foreign.

[It's a bit of a stretch for her as well.] History Men had stories of such things, but that's all they were; stories.

Can't say I ever saw this in my future either.

[Since they are sort of talking, Rogue glances back over and tries to be polite.]

Furiosa. [She holds her hand out as introduction.]

Been here long? [She nods back towards the sky and ships, indicating part of the fleet, as opposed to sitting on the beach.]

[Well, in that case Rogue scrambles up and offers Furiosa her own (gloved) hand in return.]

Not that long. [A brief, firm handshake, and she reclaims her hand.] About a month, now. You?

A few days. [A week? It's hard to differentiate on a ship in space, with no discernible sun cycle.] Just getting my bearings.

Good luck with that.

[It's a phrase that could sound sarcastic, but instead came out markedly sincere.]

Might as well enjoy the planet while we can, on top of all that.

Did you have anything like this, where you're from? [She nods towards the ocean. She's seen vast expanses of wasteland and salt lake.

Oceans? Yeah. [The word is almost a sigh.] Not where I grew up, though. But on my planet, yeah.

[She glances back up at Furiosa.]

[Though if Rogue had to guess...]

Something like this, if you replace the water with salt flats or wastelands.

Whether or not it existed elsewhere in my world is anyone's guess.

[So... no visible ocean, lots of salt flats and wastelands. That-]

Sounds intense. [She glances out toward the ocean and then back to Furiosa.] Seein' this much water's gotta be weird, then.

It was pretty intense. [And that was just without the sandstorms ...]

[She nods, looking back out over the waves.] It is. It's a little hard to fathom, just how much is out there.

An' this just one planet... while we're travelin' through space. [She shook her head.] Crazy.

I doubt we can expect them to all be this serene, can we.

Not if past experience is anythin' ta go by. [A wry twist of her lips.] An' even this place has its storms.

[Pause a beat.] Guess I'll let ya get back to enjoyin' it while it's calm.

You too. Rest up for the next big thing, apparently.

Seems like that's how it goes.

[A wry quirk of her lips and dip of her head.]

Ya have a good night.

[And she starts walking on.]
