[Vash is in the kitchen.

Making an amazing mess. He decided to try the flour the crew now has in their kitchen to once again try to make donuts.

Too bad he doesn't REALLY know what he's doing. So there's bits of gel splattered on the floor. Failed attempts set aside to be fed to birds and wildlife on the planet. The oven has the smell of something recently burnt taking out of it. And of course there's flour, mixture, and mess everywhere. Including on Vash.]

Oh, hey there! I don't mind at all! Good too meet you Rapunzel! I'm Vash! [He holds out his hand to shake and notices it's a bit... sticky.] Ah, hahahaha! [He laughs and rubs his hand off on his red jacket before re-offering it for a shake.] Sorry about the mess. Promise I'll clean it up a bit later.

[gleamed]

[ my goodness! the kitchen is certainly in a state of disarray, and considering this is rapunzel's new domain, she's a little dismayed. she blinks, feeling an urge to clean it all up and whip up something delicious posthaste, but she holds it off and smiles warmly. ]

It's nice to meet you, too, Vash! It's no problem. Can I help you with anything...?

[goldenglasses]

[Vash sighs with a pout as he looks over his mess.] Well, I was trying to make some donuts, but I guess we still don't have the right ingredients or right replacement ingredients to make them yet.

[That and he has no clue how to make them.]

[gleamed]

[ aha! maybe she could help out with that indeed!

...once she figures out one essential detail. ]

I see! What's a donut?

YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT A DONUT IS!? That's just TERRIBLE! To go through life without knowing the sweet taste of a donut! They're little cakes of heaven! With a sweet taste of honey and goodness! They warm you from the inside out! If only I could make you one! I will have to correct this right away when we stop somewhere that has them again!

[gleamed]

[ oh my goodness! she didn't know she was missing out on so much by not knowing what a donut was! were they truly all of these things? they must be to garner such a reaction. ]

Of course! And if I eat one, maybe I can figure out how to make them for you!

[goldenglasses]

[And Vash suddenly chafes from horrified to ecstatic. Hopefully shell grow use to that eventually.] REALLY?! Fo you really think you could? Because that would make this place liveable if only there were donuts! [And many other things, but Vash's priorities have never been the greatest.]

Oh thank you! Thank you! THANK YOU!!!!!

[ rapunzel just eats the enthusiasm up. if he is truly this excited about it, then she must do it, no matter what it takes! ]

Of course! As this ship's cook, I am happy and willing to meet all the cooking requests of the good SS Three Twins' crew!

[Vash grins and starts shaking with excitement for a few moments before it bursts out. His arms shoot up above his head as he jumps up and down with joy as he shouts out loudly.] Oh, BOY! A cook! Oh, this is a GREAT day! [He laughs happily, and hopefully Rapunzel doesn't mind sudden hugs as Vash will be attempting to hug her and swing her around a bit, but being surprisingly mindful that she doesn't bump anything in the tight quarters of the ship.] Oh, happy day! I'm so glad you've joined our ship! HAHAHAHA!

[gleamed]

[ whoa! she isn't quite expecting that reaction, but rapunzel doesn't resist being picked up, instead laughing and grinning at his reaction. she loves this kind of enthusiasm! it's so positive and exciting! ]

I'm so glad I've joined your ship, too!

Well, welcome to the Three Twins Rapunzel! [Vash sets her down with a huge grin.] Have you had the grand tour of this place yet? Grand, but pretty small.

[gleamed]

Mostly self-guided. [ she chuckles. ] I-I'm noooooot exactly familiar with this kind of technology, though, so I could maybe use a real tour.

[goldenglasses]

Well you've come to the right guy! [He gestures with his arms; sweeping around the kitchen.] This area here is what I like to call the kitchen! We have squishy goo stuff over here and some spices over there. Oh! And this is a drink machine where you can have some flavoured drinks and tea! This is actually probably one of the more updated areas of the ship.

[gleamed]

[ she nods quickly to demonstrate her understanding. even if the mention of "squishy goo" is a bit alarming. ]

Oh, everything seems pretty up-to-date to me! [ even the less-than-updated parts! ] What about the squishy goo, though?

[goldenglasses]

Ah, that's actually some sort of protein flavoured... stuff. Here I'll show you. [He moves to the protein machine and picks the "meat" flavoured one.] This one is suppose to be meat. Not that I could tell you what kind.

[gleamed]

[ ...well this is a bit concerning. ]

That certainly doesn't look like any meat I've ever seen.

[goldenglasses]

Me either, but that's what the button label says it's suppose to be.

[gleamed]

[ goodness, she has some work to do around here. ]

I don't suppose there's a market nearby, is there? I don't see fresh produce anywhere in here.

[goldenglasses]

We stop now and then at stations, but I'm not sure I'd call the stuff we find there "fresh". Although there has been talk of starting up a garden on the Iskaulit ship.

[gleamed]

[ oh! she beams at that. ]

A garden? In space? Is that really possible?

I don't really know, but they seem pretty confident! So I hope they can start growing things soon!
