[ and at some point, tadashi will probably be wandering around and looking for his hat. he's on the three twins like 24/7 visiting ino, and has, apparently, misplaced his hat at some point. is it in the kitchens? the bathroom? who knows. it is a mystery. help a friend out. ]

[ Misplaced? Nah. She probably stole it.

Brb taking a nap with it sneakily stuck under her side so he can't have it back without stealing it back 8) ]

[ HE WILL EVENTUALLY GIVE UP on his search... and decide to just join her for a nap. quit hogging the covers, girl, you've got one boyfriend trying to snuggle up behind you. ]

[ She'll sleepily move over ... so he can get stabbed by the brim of his own hat. :') The sneakiest ninja of all time, right here.

... She quickly remembers that she was hiding it in here, though, and reaches over to try and yank it back before he notices/figures out wtf that was ]

[ no, sorry, ino. guy's a little dense sometimes, but he's not that thick. ]

What in the world is in your bed--?

[Vash has been mostly out of the ship. Exploring the amazing ocean that's out there. Occasionally coming back to snag something to eat or rinse the salt water off of his boots, gloves, jacket, ect.

Hope no one minds the sand he tends to track around right now.

Oh. Also to occasionally steal the ship to go on underwater adventures.]

Hey, guys! I'm going to take one of the shuttles underwater again! Anyone want to come with me!?

[catamite]

[Nel's hanging out at the kitchen table, snacking on an algae wrap as he watches Vash go marching by, trying to imagine what might happen when the others find sand all over the place.

his eyes widen at the announcement, though.]

...You're taking a shuttle into the water?

[goldenglasses]

Yeah! There's so many cool things down there and the ships can take it! It will be kinda like being in space! But underwater!

[gleamed]

[ rapunzel is just exploring. EVERYWHERE. she's spent time on the planet to be sure, but this vessel is just about as fascinating to her. it's still so foreign, even after being here for a week.

however, in her exploration, she doesn't want to bother anyone unnecessarily, so she tip-toes around, peering into rooms and stations and observing before entering. if she spots someone, she politely clears her throat before asking - ]

Excuse me! I hope you don't mind company - I'm Rapunzel!

[ino]

[ Ino's probably sitting sideways in the captain's chair, fiddling with her communicator ... aka, not doing anything important, so when Rapunzel wanders in, she looks a little excited ]

Oh, hey -- you must be the new girl, right?

[ She has to admit she's kind of impressed that there's someone around with more hair than her ]

[gleamed]

[ rapunzel smiles, her head bobbing up and down in affirmation. ]

Yes, that's me! At least, I'm the newest girl I know of. [ she wouldn't want to assume there's not another new girl around! ]

[ino]

[ She'll laugh, getting up from her chair and setting her communicator down to stick out a hand for a handshake ]

Nice to meet you. I'm Ino!

[gleamed]

Ino? That's a pretty name! It's nice to meet you, too!

[ it takes a second to remember what she's supposed to do with her hand. oh right! rapunzel takes ino's hand and shakes it vigorously. she's just so excited!! ]

[there's a young sunburned guy with pointy ears parked at the ship's kitchen table, hanging around in just his swimming shorts... seemingly trying to take some slices of molded protein and seaweed from the planet, and combine them into a sort of sandwich wrap. it's not going well.

he startles a little when he's suddenly greeted by an unfamiliar face, but he's quick to smile.]

--Oh, hi! I'm, uh... I'm Nel.

[and then his eyes leave her face as he... leans a little bit to the side...]

...Wow, you've got pretty hair.

[gleamed]

[ that's quite the look! rapunzel blushes slightly at the sight of him, hardly used to seeing men in just their drawers (or, at least, that's what she assumes thee swimming shorts are). but! he didn't seem to think much of it, and she's leaning quickly that the kind of people she met back home aren't necessarily the same kind of people she's meeting here.

she blinks, then grins. ]

Sorry! I hope I'm not intruding. [ and then she positively beams at the compliment. ] Why, thank you! Thank you so much! You...you've got interesting ears!

[ sup, a compliment for a compliment, right? she's totally got this casual conversation thing down. ]

[if she thinks the shorts are something, how does she feel about blue hair and piercings? welcome to a crash course on the kind of weirdos are in the fleet, Rapunzel.

and he's been here long enough to become used to having his ears commented on, so he only looks a little sheepish about it this time.]

Oh... yeah. Guess you don't have elves where you're from, huh?

[he pushes one of the other chairs away from the table with his foot.]

And you're not intruding at all. Want to sit down? ...Are you here to visit Ino or something?

[gleamed]

Nnnnnnope! Definitely not. [ definitely no elves. she tries not to stare - it's impolite! - but looking at him is just so interesting. ] But I haven't exactly gotten around much.

[ except for like. one day of her life. so for all she knows, there are plenty of elves back home! ]

Oh, sure! [ she tiptoes closer before gingerly taking a seat. ] Thank you! I've actually just been assigned to the crew here. I'm the new cook!

[goldenglasses]

[Vash is in the kitchen.

Making an amazing mess. He decided to try the flour the crew now has in their kitchen to once again try to make donuts.

Too bad he doesn't REALLY know what he's doing. So there's bits of gel splattered on the floor. Failed attempts set aside to be fed to birds and wildlife on the planet. The oven has the smell of something recently burnt taking out of it. And of course there's flour, mixture, and mess everywhere. Including on Vash.]

Oh, hey there! I don't mind at all! Good too meet you Rapunzel! I'm Vash! [He holds out his hand to shake and notices it's a bit... sticky.] Ah, hahahaha! [He laughs and rubs his hand off on his red jacket before re-offering it for a shake.] Sorry about the mess. Promise I'll clean it up a bit later.

[gleamed]

[ my goodness! the kitchen is certainly in a state of disarray, and considering this is rapunzel's new domain, she's a little dismayed. she blinks, feeling an urge to clean it all up and whip up something delicious posthaste, but she holds it off and smiles warmly. ]

It's nice to meet you, too, Vash! It's no problem. Can I help you with anything...?

[goldenglasses]

[Vash sighs with a pout as he looks over his mess.] Well, I was trying to make some donuts, but I guess we still don't have the right ingredients or right replacement ingredients to make them yet.

[That and he has no clue how to make them.]

[gleamed]

[ aha! maybe she could help out with that indeed!

...once she figures out one essential detail. ]

I see! What's a donut?

[Rogue is mostly here because she heard it was where Rapunzel ended up, and even though she's pretty sure the girl's sweetness and light will mean that wherever she lands it'll be on her feet, she still feels obligated because of past connections to make sure everything's alright. So a day or so after the shuffle, Rogue decides to check this place out.

So don't mind the girl with the gloves wandering around your ship, Three Twins! She probably won't be there long...]

[ She's just passing by down the hall, but -- she definitely doesn't recognize this girl, so she'll greet her with a smile ]

Hey! Looking for someone?

[touchofrogue]

[She sure does look out of place! Doing a lot of peering around. Different ships are kind of interesting, actually... so this is what the Vanquish could look like with a few more augments?]

Uh - yeah, actually. I thought I'd check in on Rapunzel. I heard this was her new place.

[ino]

Oh, yeah! Yeah, I think she's in her room? I'll show you.

[ She'll gesture for Rogue to follow her ]
