Oooh, I like presents!

[But he looks a bit unsure as he looks around the kitchen.]

Cube... form? [He blinks.] ...Is it still tasty?

Yeah- and the sponsors will send you crates of their products. Once, the whole fleet got personalized soda bottles.

[She sighed.]

If you put the right combinations together, it can almost be. It's designed to give you the correct nutrition more than taste good, though. If we visit planets, we can buy or trade for fresh food, at least.

Soda bottles? Now these guys know how to sweeten the deal!

[He looks around skeptically.]

Aw... I hope I get the ones that taste good, then! ...And I really hope we find planets that have my favorites!

[Jennifer laughed at the pun.]

There should be a guidebook around here somewhere. And you can combine different cubes to make different things- wheat and cheese cubes make a decent approximation of mac and cheese. Seasonings help, too. And sometimes you can trade with other ships. We do like to help each other out here.

[He smiles and nods along.]

Those are really good chips! Mac and cheese sounds really delicious, even when it's approximate. It's nice that we can trade... I have to figure out what the other ships have!

You could always go visit them, too- every ship has shuttles. So while it may feel like we're stuck, we still have ways of getting away for a while.
