[ The broadcast begins, showing a teenage girl, white-skinned with a purplish tint (unlike what her inaccurate anime icons show) and pointed elf-like ears. Bits of the welcoming confetti is stuck to her long dark hair and she has yet to bother brushing it off. Suddenly waking back up on the Marsiva and being transported to a new ship was startling at first.

She's actually rather confused, but she hides it well with all her smiling. And she's enjoying her dessert. Holding her bowl with one hand, she gives an excited wave to the screen. ]

Hey everyone!

[ And she takes another scoop of chocolate pudding with her spoon. ]

Before I was on a totally different ship and some casino planet. Not a western. Did I fall asleep or something?

Nah, that's Mal. She's probably down in the engine room if she's on-board if you want to go look for her, but she'll probably find you first. [A beat.] I am the first mate though.

Uh... that's like... co-captain or something, right? I'll be sure to say hi to Captain Mal when I see her.

[ She plops into a chair that's... most likely not hers. Probably communications or something. Her spot should be at the weapons station. ]

I'm this ship's security, by the way.

[ She taps the augment on the back of her head. ]

Security, eh? [He looks her over. He almost says something about her being kind of small to be security, but he can almost feel Ino winding up to deck him for a comment like that. So, he keeps it to himself.] We had someone on security for a little while before you, but they transferred ships.

You thinking you're gonna stick around then?

[ Yuuki is likely not to take much offense if he did say it. Then she shrugs. There's no reason for her to leave the ship for elsewhere. ]

Mm, sure. Unless you don't want me here or something. Really wish the ship provided swords though. I've never been big playing FPS...
