file 004

Who: Orion and YOU
Broadcast: Voice
Action: Iskaulit
When: 9/25

[there's a shift and some crackling, as he's adjusting his position. it sounds like he's moving some things around.]

... Two questions.

One, who would be the best person to go to about setting up a larger infirmary on the Iskaulit? After what happened, I think it might be better to have some larger area set up. Especially if something ends up happening and we need to quarantine some kind of ailment.

... And two. [and then he pauses, because he doesn't know how to ask the second one. it's not like it's the first time someone's left, but..]

Does anyone know what happens to the people who leave? A theory, a guess... Anything? Going home is supposed to be the prize for winning at the end of the show, isn't it?

[ADDED LATER:]

... Just an added note, if anyone has any skill in blacksmithing, I could use your help.

He definitely knows his stuff. We already talked about improving my flight suit so I can do more than just glide. I'm really hoping it works.

[That's an interesting name. Of course, his own always gets a weird look.]

My name's Hiccup. It's nice to... meet you? I'm not sure about etiquette when it comes to... [He gestures to the communicator.] ... this.

He taught me about ailerons. I can tell from observation how things fly, but I didn't know why, exactly. It's really interesting.

[Clay is the best pal.]

Nope. I'm a Viking, which means we'd rather bash our heads into a rock until it breaks rather than develop a way around it. My village has changed a lot, but... I'm pretty sure we're still a couple hundred years from light switches and running water.

We built aqueducts, though. We had to, since our new friends kept lighting everything on fire.
