[Zuko has done a pretty fabulous job of not flipping out, to be honest. He's interacted with some people aboard the Marsiva and has narrowed down the possibilities to two. 1) The Animus have launched an event that's completely eradicated the old universe and dropped them into a spaceship reality show (which, honestly, is a possibility) or 2) Zuko has been pulled from Adstringendum and is now in a new splintered universe.

After working that out, Zuko is now on a different ship, and while the teenager on camera looks fairly calm and collected, those who know Zuko know he's about two seconds from turning the desk he's sitting on into a pile of charcoal and using it as anger management therapy.

Someone didn't appreciate being doused in confetti and having a celebratory chocolate thrust upon him.

Give him a moment or two before he heaves a massive sigh.]

Two things.

[Zuko totally did not rehearse what he was going to say before he elected to talk to the entire fleet.]

One -- I guess I'm stuck here until I figure out...how to get back to wherever I came from. This is all probably going away in a week anyway... So -- has anyone figured out how to get off the ships?Are we trapped on whatever...these things are until whoever is running the show decides to send us home?

And two, is the Avatar here?

[Ordinarily, Zuko would find that bizarre -- but he's been through this song and dance before. So -- ]

[Zuko sounds relieved by that (sometimes, it's a little hard to believe), and he crosses his arms with a slight huff.]

The Golden. Or -- something. I don't know, I haven't talked to anyone since I got moved.

Cool, thanks. I'm a couple years after that, in case it ever comes up. [Toph shrugs.]

[Zuko opens his mouth to ask about the finer details -- a couple years after that? The war? What happens? Does he suck at being the Firelord? Are the nations okay? Does he make things worse?

-- but then Toph distracts him with the next order, and he scoffs before running his hands over his face, sounding faintly incredulous. And a bit petulant.]

You could've given details in the first place --

[But he quickly loses focus on his bitching to focus on something more important -- and seeing as Toph is a safe bet, Zuko feels he can have the room to ask a potentially stupid question.

He even has the grace to sound somewhat cautious.]

-- are they all from the same time you are?

[Zuko had a nasty incident once where Katara was convinced he was ready to kill them all and while that might have been entirely accurate at one point in time IT'S NOT TRUE NOW jeez :c]

And ruin the fun? Pass.

[She lets out a loud HA at his question. Her grin should tell him enough.]

Sokk and I are. Katara's behind us. Don't worry, she doesn't hate you anymore.

[Begrudgingly, though he sounds a little relieved by that news.]

It totally is! [More laughter, and Toph has to wipe a tear away. It's that good.]

[But what happens after his coronation?

It's not often that Zuko find someone after him, and he almost wants to demand what's been going on, but that can wait. He has no idea whether or not he can lock the feed here and Toph is already embarrassing him. >:c

So he rolls his eyes a little, sighing to himself.]

I'm fine. -- and I wasn't worried, it's just... Annoying to go through the whole --

[And Zuko, to his immense credit, does a pretty spot on Katara impression.]

You're here to kill the Avatar! And then it's just weeks of apologizing all over again, and I've already been shot in the face with confetti, I don't need another headache --

[And Toph just fucking loses it at the Katara impression. She's laughing louder than before. It'll be a bit before she stops. Make some tea.]

[There's a roll of his eyes, but Zuko is letting Toph have the victory of a slight grin, mostly because she can't see it, and therefore can't poke fun of him.

She does, however, get a massive ugGGGggGGh of a sigh.]

Yeah, I know. Whatever.

[After another couple guffaws, and Toph lets out a loud, happy sigh.]

Man, I missed you! Things'll be more fun now that you're here.
