but, by the way the ostrich squawks and skitters on the ground to turn and bolt away, triggering a small panic in the rest of the flock, it must have been pretty great.]

[yep. and it turns out that they do kind of stampede, but it's much more hilarious-looking than when hooved animals do it. Tek has a good little chuckle going as he lowers himself back down from the fence.

look at them go! all feathers and dust and noise kicking up.]
