You stack king, queen, jack, and then the numbers all the way down to one. But you can only start your piles with one. And down here, [she gestures,] you can move cards around too, but you have to alternate colors. Red, black, red, black.

[Coincidentally, the first card she turned over from the deck was the ace of hearts, so she starts one of the home piles.]

It is. And a lot of them are unwinnable. It passes the time, though. [She shuffles more cards around, uncovering some in the stacks below, and then starts pulling more off the pile, hands slow so Emblica can track how it's done.

After a moment she pauses and points at the card setup. There are some moves free to be made - an ace to put in place, a two that matches one of their aces, a seven to move over to an either that'll fit it.]

I don't mind that, I like games that are a bit challenging.
