[He's not particularly hiding whose posting, nor does he want to advertise either. So, sometime during the day, a text post will appear on the network. ]

Anyone got any suggestions for ways to entertain yourself? Because I have way too much spare time right now and I'm sick of watching that shopping thing.

Extra points if it's something you can do alone. Offers for intercourse will only be taken up on for a charge. [After meeting half you people? He's not giving it out for free]

Also suggestions for ways to prepare Tallbird or places I can find yarn would get my thanks.

[He shuts off the text feed. If you are on the Wonderduck, he can be found on the bridge sitting in his pilot seat. He seems to have taken to holding onto a ostrich bobble head and flicking the head occasionally with his fingers to see what happens. Goddess he's so bored.]

You can buy games. They come in bulk, but some of them you can play by yourself. Also if you play cards, solitaire is fun.

Bulk of games huh? How many of them are good?

I know blackjack and poker, is solitaire like those?

Solitaire isn't really like that. It's by yourself, so you can't bet or anything, you know? It's a quiet game, not a betting game.

A lot of the games that you get you have to have another person. But some of them are fun.

A quiet game against yourself? How's it played?

OK. You know how cards have four types? Clubs, spades, diamonds, and hearts? Basically, the goal of the game is to put all the suites together in order, but it's more complicated than that because there are more rules. It would be easier if I could show you

So essentially you're just sorting the cards out by types? Sounds...fascinating.

[Utterly so. And he makes a grimace at the price. That's not cheap when you're a poor ship.]

Hmmm, I already spent a lot on food and supplies. But maybe I can convince my crewmates to chip in.

Obviously it doesn't sound fun when you explain it.

Anyway, Cecil might help. Games could pass the time for her too.

Jeez, another person bringing up Cecil. The Captain sure gets around.

I knew her from before. There's not that many people around, I'm sure we'll all know each others' business by the time this is over.

[ She's got her cracked communicator in one hand, but both hands are on her hips. She can't believe her pilot just literally pimped himself out. ]

Haha, really. Though I'm afarid got a policy about not doing those sorts of transactions with crew- sorry, Captain.

[ Predictably, red that's nearly the same hue as his hair blooms over her cheeks and her body language grows defensive, her arms crossing over her chest and her shoulders slouching forwards a little. ]

That won't be a problem, considering I have a strict policy about not paying for such attention from anyone.

[ Her quip probably isn't as effective as his was, considering she's still blushing a lot and even pouting a little, highly embarrassed in spite of her attempts to hang on to some dignity. ]

[Her quip doesn't bring the least bit of shame from him. Because you know, that requires having shame. He is partly amused at how embarrassed she seems though]

It's a puzzle. You have to figure out what number goes where to complete the pattern.

Only fun for a couple of hours, though... Maybe not fun at all, if you're not into puzzles.

I got nothing against puzzles. And I'm fine with numbers too.

I don't suppose you have any on hand.

Oh I'm sure you're not! But if it's all the same, I think I'll just skip any "share your tragic backstory" bonding nights with the fleet.

[ She is really embarrassed. If they were talking about her and someone else, or him and someone else, she wouldn't be so flustered, but they're talking about them together and that is very flustering. ]

Now now, I think it'd be more presumptuous to think I should just give my company for free.
