I wasn't that bad! Right?

[He straightens up a bit, still laughing, but leans in with his hands at Allen's waist while he first over-pronounces, then goes back to the butchering]

[And that sends him into another fit of snickers. Jesus Clay you goofball. But he'll at least try to talk between laughs]

Clay! You're going to make the entire crew hear!

What, you don't want everyone to hear me say it wrong? [HAND ON HIS HEART] Awww, you do care!

[asdflkjdsf that earns Clay a soft flick in the forehead.]

[Clay leans his head back thanks to the flick with a snicker, then manages to catch Allen's hand before he pulls it back.]

In that case, Starlight... [He lowers his head to press a kiss to the inside of Allen's wrist] I'm glad you like me enough to care about my dignity. [And a playful wink to go with it!]

[Whoa he was not expecting his wrist to be caught like that. It catches him by surprise and throws him totally off guard]

[Stay cool, stay- NOPE you can practically see the blush forming across his nose and his voice even cracks into a squeak on the next part]

Y-Y^eah! I- O-of course I do!

[Totally dignified. Clay ends up laughing at that because holy shit, his boyfriend is so cute?? It makes him lean in, grip sliding down to hold Allen's hand properly, to press a kiss to that cute as hell blush on his nose.]

You look like you're about to go all supernova on me!

[You caught him by surprise! Years he's been doing that and no one's done that in response. Which no, the laughter and kissing his nose is not helping that blush.]

I do not!

[He's not even entirely sure what a supernova is- but he does not on principle!!]

[His laughter is, at least, dying down to something fonder and quieter instead, as he lifts his free hand to cup the side of Allen's neck, thumb stroking at his cheekbone. It's so cute!]

[The thumb feels hot against his cheeks that were already heating up. He was embarrassed at his own undignified response, but jeez- did he like this guy. He really liked this guy. A little huff comes out of his mouth, trying to figure out a response until he finally figures something to say]

Can we just- can we go to my room? You can bring the stereo, just-

[Argh. This is embarrassing. ]

[Clay chuckles at that, ducking his head in an effort to hide it at least a little, before he pulls his hand away from Allen's cheek to first turn down the stereo, letting Queen's songs come out quieter, then hoist it up to his shoulder. His other hand, still holding Allen's, swings a bit in a playful manner.]

I've been wanting to see what your room looked like! Lead the way.

[Yeah you know what you're a brat, but luckily you're a very hot brat today. His face is still quite red, but it doesn't stop him from leading Clay along towards the area of the ship that houses the crew quarters. He doesn't even bother spending time to pick up his other assorted things- later. He can get them later.]
