Good afternoon, everyone! If I may have your attention please. Do you have a musical talent that you have been YEARNING to stretch for months? Or maybe you are itching to learn how to play or sing and express yourself through the undeniable power of song!

[ she emphasizes this with a dramatic flourish of her arms. ] So! I was wondering if anyone out there in the fleet would be interested in joining a musical group with me and Steven! You don't have to have an instrument. You don't even need to know how to play! You just need a desire to create a song from the heart. We could even use spare parts from our ships to make new instruments! Doesn't that sound fun?

[ it sounds fun. you know it does. ]

Aside from that...I've also been wondering about starting a garden. I know it probably sounds silly, because - space! But I've always wanted to start one, so I thought it wouldn't hurt to see if anyone had any ideas.

I'm nooooot sure myself, but someone suggested using a lamp that could simulate sunlight. If there IS such a thing. Then we'd just need soil and water...

And seeds. But with the occasional fresh planet to explore? Why, I wouldn't be surprised if someone in the fleet hasn't already been collecting specimens.

[Well! Plants and music! Beverly's kind of girl!]

Hello! We haven't met yet, but I'm Dr. Crusher, on the Blue Fish. Ino and I were actually planning to start a community garden on the Iskaulit, if you wanted to take part! Not that you can't start your own garden, of course, the more plants the better, I'd say. Either way, I would be happy to help you get started.

That would be perfect! I've seen some VERY interesting plants on the surface, too. Everything is so exotic!

[ oh! rapunzel does start, but smiles at ino in the same breath. ]

I'm not exactly sure, actually! I'm trying some new combinations to spice things up a bit. Literally!

I haven't collected much in the way of plants, yet, but now I'll be sure to!

Are you guys gonna actually perform. Or is this like a learning exercise.

We're still working on getting the water and lights running, but as soon as that's all ready, we'll take anything... edible plants, medicinal plants, decorative plants, you name it! So far we mostly have desert plants from the moon here, and a few tropical ones from the last planet. It'll be a pleasure to have you on board - Miss... I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name?

I confess I hadn't been thinking of the plants. [ ... ] But it's a lovely thought.

I want to try! I love singing. [Alarm bells should be going off just about now.] I know all the different cadences from the Proles Army. Um. And a bunch of drinking songs!

Oh, and if you like plants... you should talk to Vision. He grows seaweed.

I can play the guitar! ... Well, I mean, I had one back home. And I played a little bit, just kinda taught myself. I was gonna try to get better at it, but I seriously didn't have any time. You know? Heh, guess I've got plenty of time now, huh?

[ He cracks a half-hearted grin. ]

I seriously doubt I could make a guitar, though. Think there's one somewhere in the fleet? Or, uh, on some planet out here?

[ she is currently trying to thicken up the paste to see if she can make it...less pasty and a little more like solid food. it's certainly a trial-an-error situation. ]
