[ james has been aboard the Paisley (and quite enjoying himself!) for quite some time, but he's a little homesick. for one, he has no wand, which means he can't perform most forms of magic. james is a clever wizard, and has been trying to perform a bit more wandless magic. which is what he's doing now as the recording airs, showing james staring at a pen on the dashboard of the Paisley. which is wiggling.

after a moment or two, james sighs and reclines in his chair, and the feed flickers off just to flicker back on, because this time, it's on purpose!]

No. Nightmare Moon was...something else. Something different from her sister. It was like the real sister was lost to the darkness. BUT! It doesn't end there.
[When he continues, the tone shifts a little. After all, this has now passed from ancient history into recent history.]
The thousand years passed, and then Nightmare Moon escaped from her prison. She set up right where she started, trapping her elder sister...uh somewhere and throwing the world into eternal night. Six mares got together, and went on a quest to find the Elements of Harmony, to defeat Nightmare Moon once more.

And? Did they win?

They sure did! They became the new bearers of the Elements of Harmony, and they transformed Nightmare Moon back into Princess Luna. She rules today by the side of her sister and she's finally cherished and loved.
