Who: Cayde-6
Broadcast: Public
Action: Marsiva
When: Oct. 15
[[Network Broadcast]]
[The initial unwitting feed from Cayde is pretty standard; waking up, looking around in confusion and doing some basic exploration as he tries to figure out where he is, why he's here, and what on the good green Earth happened.
Finding his stack of clean clothes, however, incites an immediate change. He goes rigid, taking out the black and red cloak and snapping it out to look at it fully, turning it over and inspecting all the corners. Begrudgingly satisfied, he shakes his head and continues to dress.
When he finally finds the personal communicator and notices it's broadcasting, he puts his metallic blue face right up close in a feint of anger.]
Yeah, okay, I get that you're trying to be nice but you do not - and I stress, NOT - touch a Hunter's cloak without permission.
[He steps back and finishes securing it in place, pulling the hood up over his head.]
But, since you did, nice work. Now, where am I and what in the Speaker's name is going on?
[[Action on the Marsiva]]
[He would be lying if he said it wasn't in some smalllarge way exhilarating to be in such a position; inexplicably in a new place, free of the fetters of the tower, and able to roam and explore without consequence. The unexpected nature of it has him a little on edge, though; now isn't the time for a Vanguard to go missing.]
[He walks along the hallways in a casual manner, though his Hunter instincts and training have him checking every room nook and corner for any pieces to the current puzzle.]

He peered at the screen, squinting hard.]
Ah. Huh. I'd like to know that myself.
Re: [video]
[Very little can make Cayde speechless but hearing his voice coming from somewhere not his doing is definitely unsettling.
He looks at the video feed, trying to decide if it's some trick of the captors or a previously unearthed memory from one of his earlier iterations.]
Damn, I'm a handsome man.
Seriously though, you are giving me way too many questions when I was looking for answers.

Re: [video]
[Cayde shrugs.]
Not the wildest theory out there. But are you really me in a different suit?

Re: [video]
Okay, one; New York don't exist anymore where I'm from. We just got one city left. Two, this isn't armor - this is my face. Wasn't always that way, but it's got its perks.
And I'm not exactly an author, but ... I have left some stories for people to find. Name's Cayde, Hunter Guardian, sadly appointed Vanguard until I found myself here on an unexpected vacation.
Uh, well, I'm Castle. Richard Castle. I'm from 2014, if that gives you some sort of frame of reference as to when you're from in relation to me.
[He rubs at his chin for a moment in thought.] I don't want to bore you with the details, but things were really good for a while, and then they got really bad.
[He gives a thoughtful pause.>] I mean, I think. A lot happened in a small amount of time and no one's really sure of the details. We're definitely at war now, though.
-- but cheer up, they ain't gonna get rid of us and we'll get a chance to rebuild. Maybe make a New New York.
[He sighs.]
Still wouldn't be the same, but I suppose remaking it better and stronger is better than leaving it in ruin.
[He still doesn't have a full understanding about how this world works, but so far he's the only Exo/Guardian he's seen and there seems to be no looming threat that permeates every conversation. He might get spoiled.]

Re: [video]
[Cayde chuckles a little nervously.]
Funny you should mention that, it's possibly one of the reasons I even exist. Lets just say a attempt was made.
