[ Hopefully nobody's too fond of going out in the shuttles on this ship. One of them has been missing for hours at a time ever since the beginning of the week.

If you wait around long enough for it to return, however, you'll find a tall young "man" ducking out of the shuttle and heading down the corridor. Lost in thought as they are, this person isn't watching in front of them.....

Alternatively, should anyone in the Fleet also enjoy joyriding, that shuttle has been flying around and trying experimental maneuvers. Whoever's at the controls seems pretty good at coaxing speed out of something that isn't currently built for that, but they also don't seem to have a goal in mind. They're even drifting in what, to someone aboard a ship, might look like an upside-down position. ]

This is Haruka. I've investigated the shuttles.

Ominous. [ She doesn't look worried. ]

Thank goodness for that. [ It gives her a chance to think. And assess the fish. Looks pretty good for space food. ]

Yeah, most people here will probably like you.

[That said, she's pulling off the fish meat, sticking it on the skewer, etc]

[ Haruka laughs, deciding to let that one drop (mostly) in favor of being ready to accept her fish. ] Sounds good.

[Once it's all prepared, she's levitating it in front of Haruka's face.]

Haruka plucks the fish out of the air with ease. ] Any for yourself?

No, I'm conserving the remaining fish as much as I can. I already ate, I'm fine.

[Admittedly, she's not quite sure when she ate, but she assumes it was probably sometime today. Maybe.]

[ ...Lacking context, Haruka will consider the matter settled. She takes a bite, heading for the door. ] As you wish.

Anyway, next is the... bridge, probably, it's the other important place.

That's a high opinion of the ship. [ But she can't argue with it. Food and steering. Weapons are not a bad thing to know about either, but she doubts they'd work against their captors anyway. Anyone sophisticated enough to pull this off wouldn't be dumb enough to arm the prisoners.

But anyone inscrutable enough to want to pull this off is going to be a question mark anyway, so why try to outhink them? ]

It's not like it's a large ship. I've been avoiding prying into other people's business, too.
