Who: Adrasteius
Broadcast: All
Action: Marsiva
When: Oct 19
[It's been a few weeks since Archimonde's downfall. Since the collapse of the Iron Horde. It was a good moment, hard-won, but Adrasteius hasn't felt celebratory. The battle had ended in triumph, yes, but also a warning. Something is coming. Something that keeps Adrasteius from sleep, that keeps him up late fiddling with wards, praying to the Light. Keeps him staring at the sky with unease threading through all of his brittle bones.
But all living things must sleep, eventually, and he's no exception.
When he wakes up, he expects to see his wife; possibly some children, crept in after nightmares. Instead, he's alone. The room is stark, chilly, sterile.
Familiar.]
Oh, for the Light's sake.
[He rolls over, groaning. This again. Lying flat on his belly, but with his face turned upwards, he addresses the camera.]
Bal'a dash, everybody. If we haven't spoken, I'm Adrasteius. If we have--
[He sits up, albeit with obvious effort. It's hard to be old, even for an elf.]
--nice to see you again. Probably.
[Adrasteius runs a hand through his feathery blonde hair.]
What did I miss?

[Oh she's so happy to see him!
And then she claps her hand over her mouth in embarrassment.]
It's wrong to be pleased that you've been abducted again. I'm sorry. I can't help it.
no subject
No need for that. It's an inconvenience, but--it's good to see you again.
no subject
You were missed, my friend. How are you?
no subject
[Granted, he mostly remembers yelling literally anywhere he is, but.
He shrugs.]
Slightly older, not much wiser. What about you?
no subject
Nothing truly terrible has happened while you were gone. So that's something at least.

audio;
[There's the sound of scrambling, someone possibly falling off a bed, and then... uh... slamming into the hallway... and running. Urgently but without direction. WHERE IS HE. WHERE IS HE WHERE IS HE WHERE IS HE WHERE IS HE]
no subject
Belthazar--
[Oh, he hears the scrambling and the noise.]
--Belthazar, it's all right--
no subject
An'da!!
[WHUMP.]
Bastard door!
[WATCH YOUR FUCKING LANGUAGE]
no subject
Bel! Damn it--are you okay?
[He jumps up and goes to his own door, flinging it open, looking around for some sign of the kid.]
no subject
Adra?
[He tries to tug his hood around so he can see properly.]

video;
I can think of someone who's going to be very excited to see you.

[Adra shakes his head.]
Is he--doing okay? Still?
no subject
[ Boy, oh boy, has she got some gossip for you, Adra ]
A lot has happened. But he's been alright.
no subject
Mind filling me in?

You left right as the bug thing was happening, right? So ... The Iskaulit is ours to use now. It's been getting turned into some different types of common areas ... garden, some sort of church, so on and so forth.
We managed to deliver the cure for what was ailing the aliens that were on it to another colony of them on the planet we stopped at after that. They were the ones who gave us the ship, I guess.
Uhh, then we got attacked again, by the same fleet as the last attack. A few minor scrapes and bruises, a few small repairs, nothing big. But we had to hide in some kind of nebula to get away and it was messing with the ships and their functionality.
Anyways, then we stopped on a desert planet, nothing much happening there other than some supplies. And now we're in some kind of bullshit forced containment situation waiting for a so -called "calibration" to happen.

i recognize your name, people keep saying it on the bishop but i have never met you.
i am margie.
[ She turns on the video -- tall, green-haired lady with a long, black robe that screams magic user -- and she waves. She doesn't talk a lot. That's why the text. ]
no subject
People, huh? Only in the most glowing terms, I'm sure.
no subject
[ She speaks! She smiles as well; her working eye crinkles slightly with mirth since it seems like the right one's been damaged irreparably. ]
They said you heal.
no subject
Whenever I can.
no subject
I do, too. They said you were similar. After that attack by the ships.

Hiro! I'd say I'm glad you're still here, but that would be selfish and cruel! Nice that you're intact, though. And fed, I hope.
