Has... anyone else been having weird dreams lately, or just me?

Also, what do people do for fun around here? This is the longest I've ever been cooped up in one place. At least if there was something to do...

Anyway, I'm sick of meditating. If anyone wants to come chat or keep me company, I'm sitting in the living area. Does anyone know if they have a dejarik board around here? I'm not much good at it, but it's a good time waster at least.

I sincerely hope not but... as unpleasant as the thought is, it is a possibility.

Even we don't have the technology to do that back home, and we're light years more advanced than some ship that doesn't have a hyperdrive!

Back home are you able to somehow manipulate space and time in such a way that you can pull people from multiple different universes without anyone in that universe noticing? Because I know beings who can, and it has very little to do with technology and more to do with evolution. I suspect Atroma is more akin to them than to you or I.

I'm sorry, I don't mean to sound dismissive: I just don't want us to make the mistake of underestimating Atroma and what they can do.

And I'd sure love to know their motivations... [She tents her fingers thoughtfully.] Tell me, were you just... in your own dreams?

... It didn't feel like it, no.

It felt like I was in... someone else's dream.

[Beverly nods slowly, her suspicions confirmed.] Somehow, we're sharing one another's minds. I've seen inside other people's dreams - whether I wanted to or not. And, I remember other people from the fleet in mine, including people I have never even met or seen before.

Yes... me too.

I don't particularly mind people seeing my dreams, I don't have anything to hide. But I know that probably doesn't go for everyone. It's a massive invasion of privacy...

Exactly. It doesn't matter if people have anything to hide or not... it's the principle of the thing. And I don't particularly appreciate being made an unwilling participant in the invasion of someone else's privacy either.
