Has... anyone else been having weird dreams lately, or just me?

Also, what do people do for fun around here? This is the longest I've ever been cooped up in one place. At least if there was something to do...

Anyway, I'm sick of meditating. If anyone wants to come chat or keep me company, I'm sitting in the living area. Does anyone know if they have a dejarik board around here? I'm not much good at it, but it's a good time waster at least.

Oh-- right. I'm always up for a spar, too... if you think you can keep up.

Sure thing. Last one there's a rotten egg! [He may use some bamfing to try to get there quicker.]

Hey.

Kurt! I'm not racing with someone who can teleport!

[He responds teasingly over the comm between bamfs.]

Too laaaate! You accepted!

I'm going to walk slowly just to spite you.

But... But that's no fun! I'm going to look too brutal...

Should've thought of that before you tried to be a cheating cheater.

Am not! I'm just using my natural ability... Don't you have Jedi super speed you can use?!

Well-- sure, but it's not that fast.

I'm sure you could give me a run for my money if you tried!

... I'll see you there in five.

[He sighs.]

Fiiine. [And he'll arrive there just moments later and wait for her.]

[She doesn't actually take a whole five minutes to get there. More like two. She leans on the door to the gym with a cocky grin on her face.]

Ready to get your butt kicked?

[He tries to cross his arms confidently.]

No! But I am ready to... not let that happen! [He really hopes his false confidence will bring him a long way.]

[She wastes no time taking her boots off and padding over to where he is on the mat, before assuming a ready stance.]

Bring it.

[For once, she'll even wait to let him make the first move. She has Force abilities, so she can afford to take a blow or too. On the other hand, she has no idea what Kurt's physical capabilities are. Better to wait and see.]

[He takes off his own footwear and makes his way to the mat with some light movements, ready for action.]

Consider it... brung! [He comes right at her with an attempt to get a grip on her shoulders and trip her over with his foot, but as light as he may be on his feet, he probably doesn't stand much of a chance.]

[She dodges that easily, grin fierce.

But here's the thing: Ahsoka isn't actually all that strong. She's fearsome with a lightsaber and her hand to hand form is terrifyingly fast, but in terms of pure muscle she probably isn't much stronger than Kurt. So she doesn't have to worry about pulling her punches. That's a relief.

It is good exercise for her though, and she does give him the run around a bit. After a few blows she's able to work out his rhythm and settle into it, aiming to match him blow for blow and block for block and no more.]

[And so they're off. He tries his best to keep up a confident smirk as he matches blows with her. It's her speed versus his strength, it seems. Whenever he manages to catch a blow, he can turn it to his advantage. But she's still quick enough to get a lot of hits in... and unlike during the race, Kurt isn't resorting to teleportation. And so it goes on like this...]

[They go on like that for a while, honestly. Eventually, Ahsoka steps back to break, panting slightly.]

And you were worried you couldn't keep up.

[Kurt follows her lead, catching his breath and wiping at some sweat.]

I... really, really didn't think I'd last this long... [He smirks sheepishly.] The Force is strong with you, after all! [Just not... the physical force.]

[Ahsoka just laughs good naturedly.]

Well, now you have something you can brag about!

[Without thinking about it, she holds one hand out and summons her water bottle to her from where it lies over by the door with her shoes and catches it with ease.]
