At least there's no elevator music...

[At least two weeks have passed since the Drift Fleet passengers woke up on this strange wing of the Marsiva... Some new passengers have even joined the group instead of being Shuffled off to a fleet ship! The large monitor in the central room remains quiet for now, so how is everyone holding up?

Have you been relaxing? Enjoying the Earth media? If you can even remember them, how have Calibrations been treating you? Has anyone started getting a little stir-crazy?

Don't worry... This ship has no shortage of mysteries, and you'll be seeing a few more soon.]

Yeah! I asked them about the calibrations, but that's...pretty much obvious for everyone now. I asked them about where the people who aren't here any more are, but that just left more questions than answers.

I asked them the same thing, but I think I had more success. You can't ask them head-on. You've got to ask them in a way they think they're talking about someone else.

At the very least, I confirmed the people who vanish from the fleet are not sent back to where we were taken from.

Yeah, hence the notes. I figured there had to be a round-about way of asking them to get an answer.

[That...confirms his fears, and his shoulders sag. ]

Ugh, I thought that might've been the case. Damnit.

I- I have to find out where they are.

At least, they say they're "safe".

They say a lot of things are 'safe', and they almost never are.

I'm not gonna be happy unless I have proof they're safe. Heck, I won't be happy until I can get them home.

Maybe. There really might be a show, too. They said they aren't broadcasting us while we're here. But, that's just my suspicion.

Really? You'd think this would be prime viewing. All of us stuck together, going through shared nightmares.

There's no way they aren't watching this themselves, at least. But... Well, I have my own suspicions about this. It's way too similar to a game from the castle.

Have you gone into the heart of anyone you know yet?

...Not really? It was weird to me, maybe, because it wasn't stuff I was familiar with, but it seemed to tie in to them pretty well?

Yeah. Except last time, we... had to go in and remove corrupting influences from their hearts. Those games were a lot bigger, too...

It must not be quite the same thing, then.

Still. It's weird this place has something so similar.

No, it was... something they had put into the victims' souls, to make them less themselves, and just hurt them emotionally. Things like strange fear or anger where they shouldn't be.

... It is. I've been worried for a while they'd start taking ideas from the Echoes.

So...it was like having false personality traits being shoved inside? That's...really terrible.

Something like that. Suspicion and distrust, paranoia... At one point, apparently, an actual monster. I missed that one.

The ones here are a much smaller scale, with only one or two rooms, it seems like. But I'm worried they're going to pull the same thing. Keep an eye out for things that are out of place.

No problem. Just... be careful. You should understand what happens if you mess things up badly in someone's heart.
