[At least two weeks have passed since the Drift Fleet passengers woke up on this strange wing of the Marsiva... Some new passengers have even joined the group instead of being Shuffled off to a fleet ship! The large monitor in the central room remains quiet for now, so how is everyone holding up?

Have you been relaxing? Enjoying the Earth media? If you can even remember them, how have Calibrations been treating you? Has anyone started getting a little stir-crazy?

Don't worry... This ship has no shortage of mysteries, and you'll be seeing a few more soon.]

She'll start by sliding close enough their legs bump beneath the water. ] I'm sick of dreams.

And she's leaning in, leg rubbing lightly against yours.] Staying up doesn't seem to be an option either.

It's a wonder we aren't all more rested. [ Nice rubbing. What about if she puts her ankle atop yours? ]

[is that how it goes? Her hand settles on your thigh, even as she looks perfectly innocent.]

No one was. [ Would you like to attempt to keep her up right now? ask her eyes. They appear quite keen upon this question.

As is the skin prickling beneath that hand. So of course she's going to put her hand atop Michiru's hand. Top that. ]

How generous. [as tempting as that sounds, she'll only go so far in a public area.

Not that it precludes her from leaning in and giving that leg a squeeze.]

[ Haruka had her mouth open to speak when that squeeze comes, cutting off whatever witticism she'd planned since her mouth is too busy pausing, then grinning. The hand atop Michiru's attempts to weave its fingers between her partner's. ]

You tense?

[ Haruka has strong arm muscles. Good for giving massages. ]

[her hand flips around, fingers curling around yours]

[ Haruka turns in the water so that she's facing Michiru more than sitting next to Michiru. ] I'd need my other hand.

[there's a slight squeeze, and then she's letting go]

[ Yeah, yeah. Thanks for her fingers back. Haruka cracks her knuckles and then places a hand on either of Michiru's shoulders. ] Move over.

[ Give her a nice long look.

I'm not sure I like it rough. [the lilt in her voice doesn't match up to the tightness in her shoulders. Not even the hot tub helped, apparently.]

Sometimes we don't have the luxury of choosing our methods. [ What about firm? Decisive? Fingers that reach down to the core of that tension and try their hardest to tease it out?

Haruka can provide all of that. ]

[she almost retorts but she exhales instead, eyelashes fluttering shut as she faces forward again.]

...Cheater. [it's a good sort of pain, those fingers digging in, but she's still holding herself tightly.]

Mm. [ Haruka won't dispute that, fingers massaging the top of Michiru's shoulders while her thumbs work on her partner's shoulderblades. Her nose brushes against the back of Michiru's head in a subtle kiss.

Michiru always calms her down. This is the least she can do. ]

[she just responds by leaning back a little against your hands.

When you're here, it's harder to concentrate on the problems inherent to being kidnapped and all.]

...Ngh. Closer to the middle.

[ Haruka blows against Michiru's ear when next she smiles (making sure it's not the ear with the augment). ] Nobody likes a backseat driver.

[ But she adjusts accordingly. Down your spine, like this? How low? This low?

...Maybe this low. ]

[that's a shiver you could probably feel. If she wanted to, she could probably retort with...something. As it is, she's having a difficult enough time dividing her attention between your voice and your hands.]

[ That's all right, Haruka can imagine. And as per Michiru's warning earlier, she won't go so far as to change her method of stress relief. Helping Michiru relax is relaxing in and of itself....

She smiles as her fingers work in deeper. Now that she's found the right pressure points she wants to be sure they're thoroughly serviced. What if she uses her other fingers to work the area right around them? ]

[she stifles a hiss of pain. Right there. She didn't even realize she was this tense.]

[ "Atroma", whatever that is, is going to pay for upsetting Michiru this much. In the meantime, Haruka will have to do what she can...

She switches to using her knuckles on the indicated spot, alternating between digging deep and then rubbing soothingly. Let it all flow out into the water, Michiru. Your partner has your back.

[there's a quiet groan, accompanied by a release of tension and a slackening in the slope of her shoulders. It's taking a lot of willpower to remain sitting up.

Putty in your hands, huh?]

[ Haruka will catch Michiru if she does start to slump backwards, no worries. That would also be pleasant.

Seeing her job done on those particular points, Haruka keeps one hand there and sends the other moving upwards again to rub out any residual stiffness or soreness. This is nice. She chuckles quietly to herself, enjoying the work. ]

...Haruka. [her tone is low, almost a sigh. If this were anywhere else, she'd be dozing off already.]

Feeling better? [ Like she needs to ask. But it's a chance to be a jerk for her voice to caress Michiru the way her hands are working on her partner's back. ]
