[At least two weeks have passed since the Drift Fleet passengers woke up on this strange wing of the Marsiva... Some new passengers have even joined the group instead of being Shuffled off to a fleet ship! The large monitor in the central room remains quiet for now, so how is everyone holding up?

Have you been relaxing? Enjoying the Earth media? If you can even remember them, how have Calibrations been treating you? Has anyone started getting a little stir-crazy?

[Who says he's gonna drink it, huh! Judging by the way the contents of the blender are smoking, maybe he's cooking up some lethal science in here. (He might still drink it.)

Rick doesn't really answer, just kind of eyes the apple that Crowley is holding a little skeptically.]

That's a-a-a little... that's kind of obvious, isn't it?

[Well, if it's science...

He bites into the apple with a hearty CRUNCH. ]

[It's so science.

Rick waves at the apple.] Well, you're like "the devil," right. Serpent, apples, blah blah.

[He is making a wild guess, by the way. Rick just tends to be very good at wild guesses.]

I'm the Serpent, yes, but I'm not the Devil. That's a completely different entity, he's my boss.

[And gets all the credit for the apple thing, it's not fair. He has another crunch of the fruit. ]

This isn't the forbidden sort, though.

Th-that'd explain why you're not crippled by anxiety about your shitty schemes being stupid and dumb.

[Is Rick implying he has met the Devil? Maybe.

He pops the lid back on the blender.]

I'm pretty sure everyone here is too lame to do anything forbidden, anyway.

That would be it, yes. And why I'm not fucking things up by letting people completely unsuitable for a job do said important job.

[Seriously, Satan, if you hadn't given your most rebellious underling the job of GETTING THE ANTICHRIST TO THE RIGHT PLACE your Armageddon would have actually happened. Get your head out of your ass, Satan.]

That or they've done it all before. It's very boring for me, temptation wise.

[Rick pauses, looks at Crowley, looks out at whoever he can see milling around through the kitchen door, and back to Crowley again. Incredulously, he jabs a thumb toward the door, indicating everyone out there, in general.]

Them? No.

Some of them...a lot of them, actually, have done this inter-dimensional kidnapping thing before. It's a lot harder to tempt people who've been through this gig more than once. Especially when one of those previous places gave them pretty much everything they wished for.

W-wow. Of course I get stuck in the one dimension that doesn't grant wishes.

To be fair, the wishing came at a price. I ended up losing a memory due to it all. That dimension was a spiteful bitch.

[Well, wait. Rick pauses, squinting.] A memory?

Yeah. Forgot what this kid looked like back home. He was important.

[He gives a shrug. Dismissive.] It's fine, I remember now.

That's pretty a pretty specific deal for an entire dimension.
