[At least two weeks have passed since the Drift Fleet passengers woke up on this strange wing of the Marsiva... Some new passengers have even joined the group instead of being Shuffled off to a fleet ship! The large monitor in the central room remains quiet for now, so how is everyone holding up?

Have you been relaxing? Enjoying the Earth media? If you can even remember them, how have Calibrations been treating you? Has anyone started getting a little stir-crazy?

[ She'd be more worked up about it, but she's been waiting on news -- or anyone from her world period -- for almost three years at this point, so ... ]

Well — I'm sure you've heard by now? The promise that our worlds' time stops while we're here. Of course, I don't know how much weight you want to give that but [ wait, wasn't she supposed to be reassuring here ] but I'm sure it's fine.

Oh, yeah. [ She waves a hand ] It's not that I'm worried that I'm going to miss anything. I was just kinda hoping someone would show up from the future to tell me how it went, since I haven't been home in forever.

How long has it been, if you don't mind me asking?

[ She usually tries to avoid this question, but it's not like it's a weird thing to ask after what she just said. ]

--Well, technically, it's been eight years, but it's kind of complicated.

[ She's quick to follow up, though: ]

That's really unusual, though. Most people will go back within a year, so don't worry.

[ that beats out allen by a year, but if that were true, then ino would have been at least nine or ten when she'd been taken and and

weiss puts a hand to her forehead. ]

How have you not yet gone crazy?

[ Yeah, there's also the whole looking way younger than she is thing, oops. But she'll get into that another time, or at least whenever Weiss asks about it.

She lets out a little laugh, though. ]

[ well. weiss rather hopes ino isn't already crazy... it wouldn't be prudent to have a mad captain, after all. ]

It's fine, it's not a secret or anything.

[ She'll move to sit down at the closest table with her now-cooked food, gesturing for Weiss to join her if she wanted to! ]

Just means I have a lot of helpful and relevant experience, really. Don't feel like you can't ask about any of it, I'd rather my crew was prepared for any of the weird shit that might get thrown at us.

That's kind of you to offer... While this isn't my first time, it's certainly my first on a spaceship. I'm sure your experience here will be quite priceless.
