[At least two weeks have passed since the Drift Fleet passengers woke up on this strange wing of the Marsiva... Some new passengers have even joined the group instead of being Shuffled off to a fleet ship! The large monitor in the central room remains quiet for now, so how is everyone holding up?

Have you been relaxing? Enjoying the Earth media? If you can even remember them, how have Calibrations been treating you? Has anyone started getting a little stir-crazy?

I met Bluebird at the interdimensional shithole I was at before here. She was my teammate. Basically our team leader, but she'd deny it as hard as she could. She was really strong in a lot of ways.

The death of a character makes a much greater impact if the audience has had a chance to become attached.

There's no way to verify it. There's no cameras, any planet we go to has never heard of this show, the audience letters are read to us by the Atroma. Plus, they lie or obscure the point on basically everything, so why would they be honest about that point? If they wanted 'reality' in this, wouldn't it be easier to not tell us? We'd have absolutely no way to conclude there was a show, so we'd be acting a lot more genuine.

It's more likely they're using the show excuse to pacify people and hide the real reason.

Reality might not be quite as interesting as acting. [then again, she doesn't watch enough TV in the first place, much less reality TV.]

Of course, that applies to people who want to be on such a show. Either way, I suppose they have done a good job in making us paranoid.

[as for real reasons, she can think of one or several that pertain to her own corner of the universe, but finding the motive in getting everybody else involved is trickier.]
