[She nods sadly, reaching out to touch the cheek of the holographic Wesley. He leans into the gesture, seemingly with all the love in the world, but it isn't the same, and she pulls her hand away.]

It's been over seven months since Atroma brought me here. And some time before that he went... Well, that's all a little hard to explain. [She gestures towards the door.] You can see for yourself if you like. Or, if you're ready to go, I can beam you back to your ship.

[Seven months. Just a little longer than Natasha, and yet she's settled in, put down roots. Just goes to show how different they are. All this whole experience has done is highlight those differences. And yet, that's not necessarily a bad thing. It hasn't changed the root of what they are, really. She shakes her head, declining the offer.]

Maybe you could tell me about it, some other time. When we're both awake.

[Beverly seems at least a little more conscious, more aware of her circumstances. Maybe she'll remember that, too.]

When we're both awake...

[She gazes at Wesley for another long moment. It's nice in here, where she is surrounded by people she loves and the comforting warmth of the Enterprise. But none of it is real.

She taps another code into the computer and the door slides shut once more. "Security Lock Enabled." For all her seeming sentimentality, Beverly has always been good at doing what needs to be done and pushing forward with her life.]
