[ after she wakes up and orients herself, hermione spends quite a long time standing in front of the marsiva's massive windows. her arms wrap tight around her middle as she stares out into the void. if she looks a little overwhelmed, that's because she is. things back home aren't exactly great at the moment and now this.

once her legs get tired, she heaves a great sigh and walks over to a network station. it takes her a little while and quite a bit of backspacing before she's satisfied with her message and sends it off to the rest of the fleet. ]

I'm looking for anyone familiar with magic or, more specifically, the name 'Hogwarts.' Please reply to this if you recognize it. Thank you for your time.

[ it takes her a little while to respond, mostly because she's staring at the text and murmuring this can't be possible. ]

[He himself heads there even as he types out the message. Tugging out his wand, he puts on the kettle-- it'll be better if they have some tea.]

[ it takes her a bit to make her way there, both because the ship is so unfamiliar and because she's still taking in everything. when she gets to the kitchen, she pauses just inside the doorway. it really is a younger professor lupin.

except he's not a professor yet, is he? ]

Mr. Lupin? [ that... sounds terribly formal. ] Ah, Remus?

Hallo. Ms Granger, I assume?

[He offers her a slight half-smile. It's all very well to be from James' future, to know all the things he doesn't yet-- but it's another thing entirely to be on the receiving end. Still! Clearly she's friendly with him, so it can't be all bad.]
