[ after she wakes up and orients herself, hermione spends quite a long time standing in front of the marsiva's massive windows. her arms wrap tight around her middle as she stares out into the void. if she looks a little overwhelmed, that's because she is. things back home aren't exactly great at the moment and now this.

once her legs get tired, she heaves a great sigh and walks over to a network station. it takes her a little while and quite a bit of backspacing before she's satisfied with her message and sends it off to the rest of the fleet. ]

I'm looking for anyone familiar with magic or, more specifically, the name 'Hogwarts.' Please reply to this if you recognize it. Thank you for your time.

[Okay, Nightingale has her attention caught at "magic". She loves magic, being the nerd that she is. Then she sees the name Hogwarts, and the name at the bottom, and she practically leaps up in joy. She forgoes text, replying in video and looking absolutely thrilled.]

Rosella! When did you get here?! Where are you now, I'll come see you!

[Honestly, this reaction would probably be just as weird to the real Rosella, but it's been so long, Nightingale would be happy to see any teammate right now.]

[ h. granger. there are no 'grangers' within the pureblood community (and there's nothing wrong with that, obviously, but james is just thinking quickly), and the name itself doesn't sound familiar... far too well worded to be a young student, but you never know. perhaps a new first year james doesn't know, or someone who is attending school outside of his time.

there's a pause, before james turns on the feed. look texting is just way too much ok. so be greeted with an individual who looks an awful lot like harry potter, minus the scar and with a different set of eyes. ]

[ honestly? she's weirdly excited and nervous about seeing hermione around again. not that knowing her before really means much - there's hardly a guarantee that they'll actually be friends again - but familiarity is comforting in a really childish way. ]
