[ after she wakes up and orients herself, hermione spends quite a long time standing in front of the marsiva's massive windows. her arms wrap tight around her middle as she stares out into the void. if she looks a little overwhelmed, that's because she is. things back home aren't exactly great at the moment and now this.

once her legs get tired, she heaves a great sigh and walks over to a network station. it takes her a little while and quite a bit of backspacing before she's satisfied with her message and sends it off to the rest of the fleet. ]

I'm looking for anyone familiar with magic or, more specifically, the name 'Hogwarts.' Please reply to this if you recognize it. Thank you for your time.

The Force is the energy that surrounds and binds the universe together. It's in every living thing. You, me, a star, a pot plant.

I guess some of it looks like magic to people who don't understand it. If you're sensitive to the Force, you can do a lot of things other people can't, with the right training.

What sorts of things do you mean?

Moving objects in your vicinity without touching them. Being able to sense what's in the space around you. Sensing the emotions of others, too. Some precognition. Accelerated healing and enhanced strength and speed.
